Abstract
Description
一実施形態では、水素化処理共触媒組成物は、共触媒粒子を含む第1の成分と、分散剤を含む第2の成分とを含んでもよい。本明細書において、第1の成分は組成物Aと称され、第2の成分は組成物Bと称されることができる。
一実施形態では、本発明者らは組成物Aを用意しており、これは液体キャリアと共触媒粒子とを含んでもよい。共触媒粒子は、液体キャリアとの混合状態にあってもよい。一実施形態では、液体キャリアは、油を含んでもよい。こうした油は、例えば石油由来の油を含んでもよい。一実施形態では、液体キャリアを含む油は、沸点範囲が約350°F〜1125°F、又は約550°F〜1100°F、又は 約550°F〜950°Fであってもよい。非限定的な例として、液体キャリアは、減圧軽油、軽質減圧軽油、重質減圧軽油、潤滑油ベースストック、重質ディーゼル及びそれらの組合せから選択される材料を含んでもよい。
一実施形態では、組成物Bは、分散剤と分散剤希釈液とを含んでもよい。一実施形態では、分散剤は、分散剤希釈液との混合状態にあってもよい。例として、分散剤は、親油性液体中で共触媒粒子の分散を促進させることが可能な1種又は複数の成分を含んでもよい。こうした成分(単数又は複数)は、例えば表面活性材料、例えば非イオン性、アニオン性、カチオン性又は両性の界面活性剤を含む。
別の実施形態では、本発明者らは組成物Cを用意しており、これは、水素化処理系中へ導入する又は組み入れるための水素化処理共触媒組成物を含んでもよい。一実施形態では、組成物Cは、例えば、重質炭化水素供給物を水素化処理するための水素化処理(例えば沸騰床)系中の従来の触媒への、付加物として使用されてもよい。
別の実施形態では、本発明者らは共触媒組成物を作製する方法を提供する。一実施形態では、水素化処理共触媒組成物、例えば組成物Cは、共触媒粒子と液体キャリアとを含む組成物Aを用意するステップと、分散剤と分散剤希釈液とを含む組成物Bを用意するステップとを含む方法によって調製されることができる。
別の実施形態では、本発明者らは共触媒粒子を水素化処理系中へ導入する方法を提供する。該方法は、共触媒粒子と液体キャリアとを含む組成物Aを用意するステップを含んでもよい。一実施形態では、共触媒粒子は、液体キャリア中で懸濁されていてもよい。共触媒粒子は、ミクロンサイズの範囲内にあってもよい。一実施形態では、共触媒粒子の粒径が、約1ミクロン(μm)〜100ミクロン、又は約2ミクロン〜60ミクロン、又は約2ミクロン〜30ミクロンの範囲内にあってもよい。別の実施形態では、共触媒粒子の平均粒径が、約2ミクロンから100ミクロンの間、又は約4ミクロンから40ミクロンの間、又は約4ミクロンから30ミクロンの間であってもよい。
一実施形態では、分散剤希釈液は、油を含んでもよい。一実施形態では、分散剤希釈液を含む油は、沸点範囲が、約350°F〜1125°F、又は約550°F〜1100°F、又は約550°F〜950°Fであってもよい。非限定的な例として、分散剤希釈液は、減圧軽油、軽質減圧軽油、重質減圧軽油、潤滑油ベースストック、重質ディーゼル及びそれらの組合せから選択される材料を含んでもよい。
液体キャリアとしての減圧軽油を使用する、共触媒粒子の懸濁液の調製
共触媒粒子43gを、減圧軽油(VGO)(表1を参照されたい)100gと混ぜ合わせた。該混合物を5分間、スパチュラを用いて撹拌し、VGO中の共触媒粒子の懸濁液を含むスラリーの形態にある共触媒組成物を得た。例1の共触媒組成物の共触媒固体含量は、約30重量%であった。
液体キャリアとしての減圧軽油、及び分散剤を使用する、共触媒粒子の懸濁液の調製
共触媒粒子(例1による)43gを、VGO(表1を参照されたい)100g、ポリイソブチレンスクシンイミド2.2g及びオレイン酸5.4gと混ぜ合わせた。該混合物を5分間、スパチュラを使用して撹拌し、VGO及び分散剤中の共触媒粒子の懸濁液を含むスラリーの形態にある共触媒組成物を得た。例2の共触媒組成物の共触媒固体含量は、約28.6重量%であった。メトラー・トレド株式会社のFocused Beam Reflectance Measurement(FBRM)プローブを使用して測定したところ、例2で分散剤を添加したことは、例1と比べて、改善された固体ディスパーションへと導いた(表2を参照されたい)。
ミディアムサイクルオイル及び分散剤を使用する、共触媒を含有する材料の調製
共触媒粒子(例1による)43gを、ミディアムサイクルオイル(MCO)(表1を参照されたい)100g、ポリイソブチレンスクシンイミド2.2g及びオレイン酸5.4gと混ぜ合わせた。該混合物を、例1と同様に撹拌した。例3のプロトコルにおいてMCOを使用したことは、分散剤の存在下であってさえ、劣った共触媒固体ディスパーションへと導いた(表2を参照されたい)。
Claims (20)
- 油を含んだ液体キャリアと、
液体キャリアとの混合状態にある共触媒粒子と
を含む水素化処理共触媒組成物であって、
該共触媒粒子が、親水性であり、且つ
該共触媒粒子の平均粒径が約2ミクロンから100ミクロンの間である、
上記組成物。 - 共触媒粒子の平均粒径が約4ミクロンから40ミクロンの間である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、アルミナ、アルミノシリケート、シリカ、ボリア、マグネシア、チタニア及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含んだ担体を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、アルミナを含む、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、液体キャリア中に懸濁可能である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約5重量%〜50重量%の共触媒粒子と、約50重量%〜95重量%の液体キャリアとを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 液体キャリアの沸点範囲が約350°F〜1125°Fである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 液体キャリアが、減圧軽油、軽質減圧軽油、重質減圧軽油、潤滑油ベースストック、重質ディーゼル及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 温度約70°Fでの粘度が、約1000センチポアズ〜5000センチポアズの範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 平均粒径が約2ミクロンから100ミクロンの間である共触媒粒子と、
共触媒粒子との混合状態にある液体キャリアと
を含む水素化処理共触媒組成物であって、
該組成物が、約5重量%〜50重量%の共触媒粒子を含み、且つ
該液体キャリアが油を含む、
上記組成物。 - 約50重量%〜95重量%の液体キャリアを含む、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 液体キャリアが、減圧軽油、軽質減圧軽油、重質減圧軽油、潤滑油ベースストック、重質ディーゼル及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含む、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、アルミナ、アルミノシリケート、シリカ、ボリア、マグネシア、チタニア及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含んだ担体を含む、請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、親水性であり、且つ
共触媒粒子が、液体キャリア中に懸濁可能である、
請求項10に記載の組成物。 - 沸点範囲が約350°F〜1125°Fである油を含んだ液体キャリアと、
平均粒径が約4ミクロンから40ミクロンの間である共触媒粒子と
を含む水素化処理共触媒組成物であって、
該組成物が、約5重量%〜約50重量%の共触媒粒子を含み、且つ
該共触媒粒子が、アルミナ、アルミノシリケート、シリカ、ボリア、マグネシア、チタニア及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含んだ担体を含む、
上記組成物。 - 共触媒粒子が、モリブデン、タングステン、ニッケル、コバルト及びそれらの組合せから選択される少なくとも1種の金属成分を更に含む、請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 担体が、アルミナを含む、請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 約50重量%〜95重量%の液体キャリアを含む、請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 液体キャリアが、減圧軽油、軽質減圧軽油、重質減圧軽油、潤滑油ベースストック、重質ディーゼル及びそれらの組合せから成る群から選択される材料を含む、請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 共触媒粒子が、親水性であり、且つ共触媒粒子が、液体キャリア中に懸濁可能である、請求項19に記載の組成物。
