Description
Claims (6)
- 車体側チューブと車軸側チューブとを摺動自在に嵌合したフォーク本体と、
前記車体側チューブの端部を閉塞するキャップと、
前記キャップに非同軸に装着されて前記キャップに対し軸方向に移動可能な第一アジャスタおよび第二アジャスタと、
前記車体側チューブ内に収容されるとともに前記車体側チューブの中心に配置される第一調整ロッドと、
前記車体側チューブ内に収容されるとともに前記第一調整ロッドの外周に配置される筒状の第二調整ロッドとを備え、
前記第一アジャスタは、前記第一調整ロッドのキャップ側端面に当接する第一当接部を有し、
前記第二アジャスタは、前記第二調整ロッドのキャップ側端面に当接する第二当接部を有し、
前記第一当接部と前記第二当接部が車体側チューブの軸方向にずらされて互いに干渉しないように配置される
ことを特徴とするフロントフォーク。 - 前記第一アジャスタは、前記車体側チューブの軸方向視で前記キャップの中心に掛かる位置に設けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記第一アジャスタと前記第二アジャスタは、前記キャップに螺着され、周方向への回転操作によって前記キャップに対して軸方向へ移動可能である
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記キャップは、
前記第一アジャスタが挿通される第一孔と前記第二アジャスタが挿通される第二孔とを有するキャップ本体と、
筒状であって内周に前記第一アジャスタが螺着されるとともに前記第一孔に嵌合されて第一アジャスタを前記キャップ本体に装着する第一アジャスタケースと、
筒状であって内周に前記第二アジャスタが螺着されるとともに前記第二孔に嵌合されて第二アジャスタを前記キャップ本体に装着する第二アジャスタケースとを備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記第一アジャスタケースと前記第一アジャスタとの間に設けた第一ディテント機構と、
前記第二アジャスタケースと前記第二アジャスタとの間に設けた第二ディテント機構とを備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記フォーク本体内に収容されるダンパカートリッジを備え、
前記ダンパカートリッジは、
前記車軸側チューブに連結されるシリンダと、
前記シリンダ内に軸方向移動可能に挿入されて前記キャップに連結される中空なピストンロッドと、
前記ピストンロッドに連結されて前記シリンダ内を伸側室と圧側室とに区画するピストンと、
前記ピストンに設けられて伸側室と圧側室とを連通する伸側ポートおよび圧側ポートと、
前記伸側ポートを開閉する伸側リーフバルブと、
前記圧側ポートを開閉する圧側リーフバルブと、
前記伸側ポートおよび前記圧側ポートを迂回して前記伸側室と前記圧側室とを連通するバイパス路と、
前記バイパス路の途中に設けられて前記第一調整ロッドの移動により流路面積を可変にする可変減衰バルブと、
前記圧側リーフバルブと前記第二調整ロッドとの間に介装される調整ばねとを有し、
前記第一調整ロッドおよび前記第二調整ロッドは、前記ピストンロッド内に挿通される
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のフロントフォーク。
