Claims (4)
- 外周に懸架装置を構成するナックルに取り付けるための車体取付フランジを一体に有し、内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材および前記外方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を備え、
前記車体取付フランジに締結ボルトが螺合する複数のねじ孔が形成された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記車体取付フランジが、前記外方部材の外周面の円周方向に不連続に形成され、径方向外方に突出する複数の耳部で構成され、この耳部を挟んで前記外方部材のアウター側に向って漸次小径となるテーパ状の外周面が形成されると共に、インナー側に前記ナックルに内嵌される円筒状の嵌合面が形成され、当該耳部のインナー側の外周面にリブが鍛造加工によって形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記外方部材の耳部間に前記嵌合面より突出して凸条が形成され、この凸条と前記耳部の外周面が滑らかに繋がるように鍛造加工により形成されると共に、前記凸条と耳部のインナー側の側面が切削加工により平坦に形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材の耳部および前記凸条と、前記アウター側の外周面との交差部に円弧状の隅部がそれぞれ鍛造加工により形成されると共に、前記耳部のリブの厚さが前記凸条の厚さよりも厚く設定されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材の耳部および前記凸条と、前記アウター側の外周面との交差部に円弧状の隅部がそれぞれ鍛造加工により形成されると共に、前記耳部のリブの厚さが前記凸条の厚さよりも薄く設定されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
