Abstract
Description
図1に示されるように、排熱回収器構造は、車両前方側(ガスの排出方向の上流側)から順に、排気管10、触媒コンバータ12、連結管14、及び排熱回収器16を含んで構成されている。また、排熱回収器16よりも車両後方側(ガスの排出方向の下流側)には、排気音を低減するためのマフラ18が接続されている。
触媒コンバータ12と排熱回収器16とは、連結管14によって連結されている。ここで、連結管14は、排熱回収器16と同様にフロアトンネル34の内側に配設されている(図2参照)。また、連結管14の車両前後方向の中間部分には、屈曲部14Cが設けられている。そして、屈曲部14Cよりも車両後方側の後部14Bが車両前方側の前部14Aに対して平面視で車両左側(車両幅方向の一方側)に屈曲している。このため、本実施形態では、平面視で連結管14の屈曲部14Cにおける曲率半径が小さい車両左側が屈曲内側となっており、平面視で連結管14の屈曲部14Cにおける曲率半径が大きい車両右側が屈曲外側となっている。
次に、本実施形態に係る排熱回収器構造の作用並びに効果について説明する。

Claims (4)
- 車両前後方向に延在され、内燃機関で発生したガスが排出される排気管と、
前記排気管に接続された触媒コンバータと、
前記触媒コンバータよりも車両後方側且つ車両床部に形成されたフロアトンネルの内側に配設されると共に、前記内燃機関を冷却する冷却水の水配管が車両幅方向の一方側に接続され、該冷却水と前記ガスとの間で熱交換を行う排熱回収器と、
前記フロアトンネルの内側で前記触媒コンバータと前記排熱回収器とを連結すると共に、平面視で車両後方側が車両前方側に対して車両幅方向の一方側に屈曲又は湾曲した連結管と、
を有する排熱回収器構造。 - 前記水配管は、前記連結管の屈曲内側又は湾曲内側に配設されている請求項1に記載の排熱回収器構造。
- 前記水配管は、前記排熱回収器から延出された金属管と前記内燃機関とを連結する樹脂製の管体であり、
車両幅方向から見て前記連結管と重なる位置で前記水配管と前記金属管とが接続されている請求項2に記載の排熱回収器構造。 - 前記排熱回収器における前記ガスの流路は、前記冷却水との熱交換が行われない主流路と、前記冷却水との熱交換が行われるバイパス流路とを含んで構成されると共に、前記排熱回収器には、前記主流路又は前記バイパス流路を開閉可能なバルブが設けられており、
前記バルブの軸受は、前記排熱回収器における前記連結管の屈曲内側又は湾曲内側に位置する内壁に配置されている請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の排熱回収器構造。
