Abstract
Description
本願は、その開示内容の全容が参照により本明細書に組み入れられる、2010年11月15日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/413,895号の利益を請求するものである。
本明細書は、血管処置の分野に関する。
血管、血管奇形、およびリンパ系などの体の他の系における同様の問題の処置に硬化療法を使用することができ、この硬化療法は、様々な形態で150年以上も使用されてきた。その最近の形態では、硬化療法は、欧州では、様々な静脈の症状、例えば;静脈瘤、網状脈、脚のクモ状静脈瘤、および顔面細静脈の処置に1960年代から使用されてきた。
以下の説明および例は、本発明の好ましい実施形態を詳細に解説する。当業者であれば、本発明の範囲内である本発明の数々の変更および改良が存在することを理解できよう。したがって、好ましい実施形態の説明は、本発明の範囲を限定すると見なすべきものではない。この説明では、図面を参照し、これらの図面の同様の部分には同様の参照符号が付されている。
Claims (24)
- 血管処置装置であって、
対象の血管内を通過できる形状および寸法の細長い腔内部材であって、近位端部および遠位端部を有する、腔内部材と、
前記腔内部材に結合された電動式駆動系であって、前記腔内部材を回転振動させるように構成されており、かつ前記腔内部材を回転させると共に、前記腔内部材の回転方向を反転させるように構成されている、電動式駆動系と、を備え、
前記腔内部材の回転振動は、前記対象の血管内の前記腔内部材の絡み合いを防止する、血管処置装置。 - 前記駆動系が、可逆モータを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動系が、運動チェーンを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記駆動系が、変速機を備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記電動式駆動系が、各振動において前記腔内部材を1回転させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記電動式駆動系が、前記可逆モータの回転方向を周期的に反転させるように構成されたモータ制御/駆動回路を備えている、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記モータ制御/駆動回路が、プログラム可能である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記電動式駆動系が、負荷が閾値以上になったときに回転方向を反転させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記腔内部材の前記遠位端部が、静脈壁破壊部を備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 硬化剤の供給源と、
前記硬化剤の供給源と前記腔内部材の前記遠位端部との間の流路と、を備える、請求項9に記載の装置。 - 静脈を閉塞させる装置であって、
対象の血管内を通過できる形状および寸法の細長い腔内部材であって、近位端部および遠位端部を有する、腔内部材と、
前記腔内部材に結合されて、周期的に前記腔内部材の回転方向を変えることで、前記腔内部材またはその一部を回転振動させる、少なくとも1つの第1のモータと、
前記モータに結合されたモータ駆動回路と、
前記モータ駆動回路に結合された負荷センサと、を備え、
前記腔内部材の回転振動は、前記対象の血管内の前記腔内部材の絡み合いを防止する、装置。 - 前記モータ駆動回路が、前記負荷センサに応答して前記モータを停止するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記モータ駆動回路が、前記負荷センサに応答して前記モータの速度を下げるように構成されている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記モータ駆動回路が、前記負荷センサに応答して前記モータの方向を反転させるように構成されている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記細長い腔内部材の前記遠位端部が、静脈壁破壊部を備えている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 硬化剤の供給源と、
前記硬化剤の供給源と前記細長い腔内部材の前記遠位端部との間の流路と、を備える、請求項15に記載の装置。 - 静脈を閉塞させる装置であって、
対象の血管内を通過できる形状および寸法の細長い腔内部材であって、近位端部および遠位端部を有する、腔内部材と、
前記腔内部材に結合された電動式駆動系であって、前記腔内部材またはその一部を回転させるように構成された、電動式駆動系と、
周期的に前記腔内部材またはその一部の回転方向を変えることで、前記腔内部材またはその一部を回転振動させる手段と、を備え、
前記腔内部材またはその一部の回転振動は、前記対象の血管内の前記腔内部材の絡み合いを防止する、装置。 - 前記回転振動させる手段が、モータ制御/駆動回路および可逆モータを備えている、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 前記回転振動させる手段が、運動チェーンを備えている、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 前記細長い腔内部材の前記遠位端部が、静脈壁破壊部を備えている、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 硬化剤の供給源と、
前記硬化剤の供給源と前記細長い腔内部材の前記遠位端部との間の流路と、を備える、請求項20に記載の装置。 - 前記回転方向の周期的な反転が、定義された時間間隔で起こる、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記回転方向の周期的な反転が、ランダムな時間間隔で起こる、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記回転方向の周期的な反転が、設定回転数またはその設定回転数未満の後に起こる、請求項6に記載の装置。
