Description

硬化療法は、血管、血管奇形、および、リンパ系などの他の身体系の同様の問題を処置するために使用することができ、150年間にわたって様々な形態で使用されてきた。硬化療法は、その更に近代的な形態では、1960年代以来、静脈瘤、網状脈、脚のクモ状静脈、および、いくらかの細かい顔面静脈などの様々な静脈状態を処置するために欧州で使用されてきた。

Claims (23)
- 被検体の血管を通過するように形成されて寸法付けられる長尺な管腔内部材を備え、該管腔内部材が基端と先端とを含み、前記先端が静脈壁破壊部を備え、前記静脈壁破壊部は、血管の内壁から組織を削り取ってその組織を使用中に前記破壊部で保持するように構成される、血管処置器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端が半球状の自由端で終端する請求項1の器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端が先の尖った自由端で終端する請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端がテクスチャード加工された半球状の自由端で終端する請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端が粗面を有する請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端が湾曲部分を備える請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記先端が湾曲部分よりも先端側に直線部分を備える請求項1に記載の器具。
- 硬化剤源と、前記硬化剤源と長尺な前記管腔内部材の先端との間の流体チャネルと、を更に備える請求項1に記載の器具。
- 被検体の血管を通過するように形成されて寸法付けられる長尺な管腔内部材を備え、該管腔内部材が基端と先端とを含み、前記先端が静脈壁破壊部を備え、前記静脈壁破壊部が血管の内壁から組織を削り取るように構成され、前記静脈壁破壊部が組織収容部位を形成する構造を備えて成る、血管処置器具。
- 前記構造がキャビティを備える請求項9の器具。
- 前記構造が貫通穴を備える請求項10の器具。
- 硬化剤源と、前記硬化剤源と長尺な前記管腔内部材の先端との間の流体チャネルと、を更に備える請求項1に記載の器具。
- アクセス部位から静脈内へと長尺な管腔内部材を押し進めるステップであって、前記管腔内部材は、その一部分が血管内壁に損傷をもたらすように構成されるステップと、静脈の内皮に当接する前記管腔内部材の前記一部分の所定の移動を行なうことによって血管内壁を損傷させるステップであって、損傷させるこのステップが、前記所定の移動を行ないつつ、血管内壁から内皮組織を除去して、その内皮組織を前記管腔内部材の前記一部分で保持することを含む、ステップと、を備える、血管処置方法。
- 硬化剤を静脈内へ注入して損傷された血管内壁上へ至らせるステップを備える請求項13の方法。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記一部分にあるキャビティ内で内皮組織を保持するステップを備える請求項13の方法。
- 前記管腔内部材の前記一部分にある貫通穴内で内皮組織を保持するステップを備える請求項13の方法。
- 静脈血管壁の破壊と硬化剤の適用との組み合わせによって静脈を恒久的に閉塞するための方法において、長尺な管腔内部材をアクセス部位から静脈内へと押し進めるステップであって、前記管腔内部材は、その一部分が、所定の移動を行なう際にユーザ制御下で静脈の血管内壁に損傷をもたらすように構成されるステップと、静脈の内皮に当接する前記管腔内部材の前記一部分の前記所定の移動を行なうことによって血管内壁を損傷させるステップと、硬化剤を静脈内へ注入して損傷された血管内壁上へ至らせるステップと、硬化剤が前記アクセス部位から出るのを観察するステップと、前記観察に応じて硬化剤の注入を停止させるステップと、を備える方法。
- 注入器が硬化剤の注入を停止させるように止められる請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記注入器がシリンジ内にプランジャを備える請求項18に記載の方法。
- 静脈血管壁の破壊と硬化剤の適用との組み合わせによって静脈を恒久的に閉塞するための方法において、被検体を少なくとも1つの体肢が被検体の頭部の下側にある状態に方向付けるステップと、長尺な管腔内部材をアクセス部位から少なくとも1つの体肢の静脈内へと押し進めるステップであって、前記管腔内部材は、その一部分が、所定の移動を行なう際にユーザ制御下で静脈の血管内壁に損傷をもたらすように構成されるステップと、被検体を少なくとも1つの体肢が被検体の頭部とほぼ同じ高さにある或いは被検体の頭部よりも僅かに上側にある状態に再び方向付けるステップと、静脈の内皮に当接する前記管腔内部材の前記一部分の前記所定の移動を行なうことによって血管内壁を損傷させるステップと、硬化剤を静脈内へ注入して損傷された血管内壁上へ至らせるステップと、を備える方法。
- 少なくとも1つの前記体肢が少なくとも1つの腕を備える請求項20に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの前記体肢が少なくとも1つの脚を備える請求項20に記載の方法。
- 被検体を方向付ける前記ステップおよび再び方向付ける前記ステップは、被検体を傾けることを含む請求項41に記載の方法。
