Claims (7)
- 重症疾患である疑いがある患者を診断、評価、又は監視するために、或いは、重症疾患であると診断された患者を評価、又は監視するために、酸化還元電位(ORP)を測定する方法において、前記方法は:
a.患者から取得された体液サンプル、患者から取得された組織サンプル又はそれら両方の、酸化還元電位(ORP)を測定する工程と;
b.以下の工程:
i.前記ORPが、正常な患者からの同じ体液サンプル、組織サンプル又はそれら両方のORPと有意に異なるかどうかを決定する工程;及び
ii.患者の体液サンプル、患者の組織サンプル又はそれら両方のORPを現在の測定よりも前に少なくとも一回測定した場合、前記ORPが、以前の測定と比較して増加又は減少していたかどうかを決定する工程と、のうちの一方又は両方を実施する工程と;からなる、方法。 - 前記ORPは、前記患者が重症疾患であるか否かを決定するために評価の一部として使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記患者の治療の有効性を決定するために、前記ORPは監視される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記患者の症状が回復しているか又は悪化しているかを決定するために、前記ORPは監視される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ORPは、1日に一回又は1日に複数回、測定される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 体液は、血液、血漿又は血清である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記患者は外傷に罹患している、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
