Claims (10)
- 複数の画素が配列された表示パネルであって、前記各画素がゲートライン及びデータラインに連結された薄膜トランジスタ、並びに前記薄膜トランジスタに連結された表示素子を含む表示パネルと、
ゲートオン電圧及び複数のゲートオフ電圧を生成する駆動電圧発生部と、
初期駆動区間を複数の設定区間に分割し、前記設定区間の各々に対応して該当するレベルのゲートオフ電圧を出力するように制御するタイミングコントローラと、
前記ゲートオン電圧と前記設定区間に対応するゲートオフ電圧を用いてゲート信号を生成し、前記ゲートラインに前記ゲート信号を出力するゲート駆動回路と、
を含むことを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 前記複数の設定区間の各々に対応する前記ゲートオフ電圧のレベルは、前記初期駆動区間における駆動時間が増加するほど、ネガティブ方向に移動することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の設定区間のうち、第1設定区間に対応する第1ゲートオフ電圧のレベルは0Vに近いネガティブレベルを有することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の設定区間の各々に対応する前記複数のゲートオフ電圧のレベルは、前記複数の設定区間で色落ちが発生するゲートオフ電圧のレベルより低いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記画素は前記表示素子に連結されたストレージキャパシタをさらに含み、
前記ストレージキャパシタに印加されるストレージ共通電圧は、前記複数の設定区間の各々において前記ゲートオフ電圧のレベルと連動したレベルを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記設定区間の開始時点において周辺温度をセンシングする温度センサーと、
前記センシングされた周辺温度に対応して少なくとも1つの補償電圧レベルを格納する温度補償部と、をさらに含み、
前記駆動電圧発生部は、前記補償電圧レベルに基づいて温度補償電圧を生成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記温度補償電圧のレベルは、前記周辺温度が増加するほど、ネガティブ方向に移動することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記駆動電圧発生部は、
前記複数の設定区間の各々の温度補償電圧を該当するゲートオフ電圧に加算して前記ゲート駆動回路に提供することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の表示装置。 - 前記初期駆動区間は100時間以内であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記初期駆動区間以後のゲートオフ電圧のレベルは、前記初期駆動区間の最後の設定区間に該当するゲートオフ電圧のレベルに維持されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
