Abstract
【解決手段】カニューラが、対象の皮膚内で、その完全な深さに、正確に挿入されているかどうかを検出するセンサーが開示される。センサーは、血糖値モニター、または、連続式のインシュリン注入ポンプ、注入セット、または、断続、または、連続する検査、および/または、薬剤送達を含む他のシステムと共に用いられ得る。

Claims (33)
- 挿入モニターであって、
頂部、および、対象の皮膚の挿入部位に近接して配置されるように適合させられた基部を有するハウジング、
対象の皮膚への挿入のために適合させられたベベルを備える遠位端と、前記ハウジングに取り付けられた近位端を有する、カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブ、
前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブに近接する、前記ハウジングの前記基部の中央領域内の一対の電気的接点であって、前記一対の電気的接点は、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブが、完全な貫通深さに到達したとき、前記対象の皮膚と接触する、前記一対の電気的接点、
前記一対の電気的接点を含むセンサー回路であって、前記電気的接点の一方または両方が対象の皮膚と接触し、および、接触が途絶されるとき、前記センサー回路における電気的特性の変化を検出する、前記センサー回路、
前記電気的特性の変化に対応する警報機構であって、挿入状態の報知を提供する、前記警報機構、
を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。 - 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記電気的特性の変化は、キャパシタンスの変化であることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記電気的特性の変化は、抵抗の変化であることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象の皮膚にカニューラのベベルを押し進める自動カニューラ挿入機構を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象の皮膚に挿入されるカテーテルによってアクセスされる血液サンプルのグルコース含量を測定するように適合させられた血糖値センサーを含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象の皮膚に直接挿入された血糖値検出プローブを含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象に薬剤を送達するカニューラによってアクセスされる、関連づけられた薬剤供給源を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記警報機構は、前記センサー回路によって駆動される、一つ以上の可視光、一つ以上の可聴警報、または、感知可能な振動、または、一つ以上の可視光、可聴警報、および、感知可能な振動の組合せからなり、カニューラが正確に挿入されるとき、および、カニューラが正確に挿入されないとき、異なる報知を提供することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記センサー回路は、遠隔の血糖値モニターと挿入状態を交信することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記センサー回路は、遠隔の薬剤原と挿入状態を交信することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項1の挿入モニターであって、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブの傾斜挿入は、前記一対の電気的接点の一方が対象の皮膚と接触し、前記一対の電気的接点の他方が対象の皮膚と接触しないとき、前記警報機構によって報知されることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 挿入モニターであって、
頂部と、挿入部位に近接して対象の皮膚に配置されるように適合させられた基部を有するハウジングと、
前記基部から遠位に突出する、前記対象の皮膚に挿入するように適合させられたベベルを備える遠位端と、前記ハウジング内に固定された近位端を有する、カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブと、
少なくとも一対の機械的柱状体であって、各柱状体は、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブの近傍の前記基部の中央領域において、前記基部から遠位に突出する遠位端と、前記ハウジング内の近位端を有する、前記柱状体とを含み、
各柱状体は、前記対象の皮膚への前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブの挿入に対応して前記ハウジング内で、近位に、独立して移動することを特徴とする挿入モニター。 - 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、前記一対の柱状体の一方が、前記一対の柱状体の他方より、前記ハウジング内において、近位により大きな距離を移動するとき、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブの傾斜挿入が報知されることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、前記機械的柱状体の前記近位端は、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブが完全な貫通深さに到達するとき、前記ハウジング内の表面と接触することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、さらに、前記ハウジングの頂部表面に窓を含み、前記窓を通して、前記柱状体の前記近位端が、可視であり、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブが完全な貫通深さに到達したとの可視的な報知を提供することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、さらに、前記ハウジング内に高分子の色変化材料を含み、前記高分子の色変化材料と前記柱状体の一方または双方の接触が、可視の色変化をもたらし、前記カニューラが、完全な貫通深さに到達したとの報知を提供することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項14の挿入モニターであって、前記ハウジング内での前記表面との接触が、可視光、可聴警報、感知できる振動、および、挿入状態の報知を生成するために遠隔装置に送信される信号からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つを作動させることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、前記一対の機械的柱状体の各々は、前記カニューラが前記挿入部位に完全に挿入されるとき、前記ハウジングの前記頂部から突出し、前記ハウジングの表面で使用者のために触覚の目印を提供し、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブが完全な貫通深さに到達したとの触覚の報知を生成することを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、さらに、挿入状態の報知を受ける挿入部位から離れた血糖値モニターを含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、さらに、挿入状態の報知を受ける前記挿入部位から離れた薬剤源を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項12の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象の皮膚の下の皮下腔にカニューラのベベルを押し進める、前記ハウジング内の自動カニューラ挿入機構を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 挿入モニターであって、
挿入部位の近傍で対象の皮膚に配置されるように適合させられ、ばね付勢されたカラー、および、カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブを受容する凹所を有するハウジング、
ベベル備えた遠位端と、前記ハウジングに固定された近位端を有する、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブ、
前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブを取り囲むカラー、および、前記ハウジング内の前記凹所と前記カラーとの間に配置されたばねを含む、ばね負荷されたカラーであって、前記ばねの付勢下で前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブに沿って前記カラーを滑動させる、前記ばね負荷されたカラー、
前記ばね負荷されたカラーが、前記カラーの遠位表面が前記ハウジングの前記遠位表面と同一平面内にある状態で、前記ハウジングの前記凹所に完全に配置されるときを検出するセンサー、および、
前記センサーは、前記カニューラ、カテーテルまたはプローブの挿入状態を検知するときトリガーされる警報機構を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。 - 請求項22の挿入モニターであって、さらに、対象の皮膚の表面下のスペースに前記カニューラのベベルを押し進める、自動カニューラ挿入機構を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項22の挿入モニターであって、前記センサーは、光学式、磁気式、または、電気式であることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項22の挿入モニターであって、前記センサーが、光学式、磁気式、または、電気式であり、前記警報機構が、前記ハウジングにおける可聴警報を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項22の挿入モニターであって、前記センサーが、光学式、磁気式、または、電気式であり、前記警報機構が、前記注入部位から離れた装置に信号を送る送信器を含むことを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- 請求項22の挿入モニターであって、前記注入部位から離れた装置は、注入ポンプまたは血糖値モニターであることを特徴とする挿入モニター。
- カニューラ挿入モニターであって、
ベベルを備える遠位端とハウジング内に配置された近位端を有するカニューラ、
前記カニューラ上の電気絶縁層、
前記絶縁層上の電気的に導電性の遠位電極、および、前記絶縁層上の前記遠位電極の近位に配置された電気的に導電性の近位電極、
対象の皮膚に対して配置されるように適合させられたハウジングであって、前記ハウジングは、前記遠位電極と前記近位電極とに電気的に接続されたセンサー回路を有し、前記遠位電極と前記近位電極の間の組織の電気的特性を検出する、前記ハウジング、および、
前記電気的特性の変化に対応し、挿入状態の報知を提供する警報機構を含むことを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。 - 請求項28のカニューラ挿入モニターであって、前記電気的特性の変化は、前記近位および遠位電極間を流れる電流の変化であることを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。
- 請求項28のカニューラ挿入モニターであって、前記電気絶縁層が前記カニューラ上に被覆され、前記遠位電極および近位電極が、前記電気絶縁層上に被覆されることを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。
- 請求項28のカニューラ挿入モニターであって、さらに、前記対象の皮膚に前記カニューラのベベルを押し進めるために、自動カニューラ挿入機構を含むことを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。
- 請求項28のカニューラ挿入モニターであって、前記警報機構は、遠隔の血糖値モニターまたは遠隔の薬剤送達源に送信される信号を含むことを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。
- 請求項28のカニューラ挿入モニターであって、前記警報機構は、前記センサー回路によって作動させられる、可視光、可聴警報、感知できる振動、または、それらの組合せからなる群から選択された一つ以上からなり、前記カニューラが正確に挿入されたとき、および、前記カニューラが正確に挿入されないとき、異なる報知を提供することを特徴とするカニューラ挿入モニター。
