Claims (8)
- 鞍乗型車両のエンジンからの排気ガスを排出する排気通路に設けられる排気チャンバであって、
内部にチャンバ膨張室を有するインナケースと、このインナケースの少なくとも一部を覆うアウタケースとを備え、
前記インナケースは、2分割された第1および第2インナケース半体がインナ接合部で接合されて構成され、
前記アウタケースは、互いに離間して配置された複数のアウタケース片を有し、
前記アウタケース片は、前記インナケースの外面における前記インナ接合部とは異なる部位に接合されている排気チャンバ。 - 請求項1に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記アウタケース片が、前記第1および第2インナケース半体の分割面を跨いで配置され、両インナケース半体に接合されている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。
- 請求項1または2に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記アウタケースは、前記インナケースを車体外側方から覆っている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記インナケースの一部が外方に露出している鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。
- 請求項4に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記インナケースの前記第1および第2インナケース半体は、上下方向に2分割され、
前記インナケースの上面および下面における車幅方向中央部が外方に露出し、
前記アウタケースが、露出する部分よりも車幅方向外側の外側部分を覆い、該露出する部分に接合されている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。 - 請求項5に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記インナケースにおける露出する部分が、上側の前記第1インナケース半体に形成され、
この露出する部分に、車体フレーム取付用のブラケットが設けられている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記インナケースと前記アウタケースとの間に、断熱空間が形成されている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の排気チャンバにおいて、前記インナケースの内面に、前記インナケースの分割面と交差する方向に延びる無端状の補強帯材が配置されている鞍乗型車両の排気チャンバ。
