Abstract
Description
(ただし、一般式(I)中x、y、z、a、b、cについて、2.0≦x≦4.0、0<y<1.5、0<z<0.05、0≦a<0.5、0<b<0.5、0≦c<1.5、y+c<1.5であり、また式中MtはAl、Ga、Inから選択された少なくとも1種である。)
なお、色名と色度座標との関係、光の波長範囲と単色光の色名との関係等は、JIS Z8110に従う。具体的には、380nm〜410nmが紫色、410nm〜455nmが青紫色、455nm〜485nmが青色、485nm〜495nmが青緑色、495nm〜548nmが緑色、548nm〜573nmが黄緑色、573nm〜584nmが黄色、584nm〜610nmが黄赤色、610nm〜780nmが赤色である。
<蛍光体>
本形態に係る赤色蛍光体の残光時間として、発光強度が基準時の発光強度の1/10となる残光時間が、6.5ms以下であることが好ましい。あるいは、発光強度が基準時の発光強度の1/100となる残光時間が、13.5ms以下であることが好ましい。
本形態の赤色発光蛍光体は、蛍光体の粒径が5μm〜30μmであることが好ましい。また、本形態の赤色発光蛍光体は、蛍光体の50重量%以上が結晶相を有していることが好ましい。

- 下記一般式(I)で表される組成を有することを特徴とする赤色発光蛍光体。
(x−a)MgO・(a/2)Sc2O3・yMgF2・cCaF2・(1−b)GeO2・(b/2)Mt2O3:zMn4+ (I)
(ただし、一般式(I)中x、y、z、a、b、cについて、2.0≦x≦4.0、0<y<1.5、0<z<0.05、0≦a<0.5、0<b<0.5、0≦c<1.5、y+c<1.5である。また一般式(I)中のMtは、Al、Ga、Inから選択された少なくとも1種である。) - 請求項1に記載の赤色発光蛍光体であって、
発光強度が基準時の発光強度の1/10となる残光時間が、6.5ms以下であることを特徴とする赤色発光蛍光体。 - 請求項1に記載の赤色発光蛍光体であって、
発光強度が基準時の発光強度の1/100となる残光時間が、13.5ms以下であることを特徴とする赤色発光蛍光体。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の赤色発光蛍光体であって、
