Abstract
Description
本出願は、2012年9月5日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/697,073号、および2013年3月11日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/776,247号の利益を請求するものであり、これらはその全体がここに組み込まれている。
約30mgの繊維を、塩酸でpH4.5に調節された800μLの100mMクエン酸ナトリウム緩衝剤中の、20μLのアスペルギルス・ニガーからのノボザイムペクチナーゼ(50倍希釈)に暴露する。溶液を40℃で1時間加熱する。加熱後、50μLの液体溶液を取り除き、1mLの10mM水酸化ナトリウムに加える。溶液に、4−ヒドロキシ−ベンゾヒドラジドの0.5%溶液(0.5M塩酸中の5%溶液として調製され0.5M水酸化ナトリウムでの希釈によって0.5%溶液とする)の3.0mLのアリコートを加え、沸騰水中で5分間加熱する。冷却後、混合物の吸光度を410nmにおいて測定する。
ガラクツロン酸の標準を水中で調製し、50μLのこれらの溶液を10mM水酸化ナトリウムの1mLのアリコートに加える。還元糖の比色分析は前記と同じ方式に従う。

- 前記略直線状で植物由来でありペクチンを略除去された繊維は、亜麻、麻、ツナソ、苧麻、イラクサ、レダマ、ケナフ植物、あるいはこれらの任意の組み合わせから抽出された繊維である、請求項1に記載の不織布。

挟持による積層物の形成、からなる方法。 - 第1の不織布、および第1の不織布に結合される別の不織布からなる積層物であって、第1の不織布は請求項33に記載の不織布であり、別の不織布は第2の不織布または織布のうち少なくとも1つであり、第2の不織布は任意で追加の請求項33に記載の不織布である積層物。
- 前記別の不織布は、接着剤によって前記第1の不織布と結合される、請求項56に記載の積層物。
- 主に、略直線状であり植物由来で平均で10mmより大きい長さを有する個別化繊維からなる不織布。
