Claims (16)

軸方向コンプライアンスが、コンプライアントマウントを用いて前記1次リングに対して提供されている、気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。 - Oリングが、前記回転可能なシャフトを前記ランナーに連結している、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記多孔質体が、グラファイト、カーボン、シリコンカーバイド、タングステンカーバイド、アルミナ及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- アダプタプレートが前記ハウジングと前記シール体との間に位置付けられ、
Oリングが前記アダプタプレートと前記シール体との間に位置付けられた、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。 - 前記多孔質体が焼結材料である、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記プレナムが、前記多孔質体内の自由流れの少なくとも9倍のコンダクタンスを有する、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記加圧流体が、気体、液体又は蒸気のいずれか一つである、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記ランナーが曲面を有する、請求項1に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 回転可能なシャフトに連結されたランナーである第1対向面と、
多孔質体である第2対向面と、
前記シャフトと同心状に位置し、キャビティを画成するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに連結された環状シール体と
を備え、
前記環状シール体が、前記シャフトの周りに同心状に配置された複数のプレナムを含み、各プレナムがポートを有し、前記多孔質体が前記複数のプレナム上に位置付けられ、
前記シール体が、加圧流体を前記ポートを介して前記複数のプレナムに伝達する伝導通路を含み、前記複数のプレナム及び前記多孔質体が、前記加圧流体を前記ランナーと前記シール体との間に分配して、前記ランナーと前記多孔質体との間に環状膜を作り出す、気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。 - Oリングが、前記回転可能なシャフトを前記ランナーに連結している、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記多孔質体が、グラファイト、カーボン、シリコンカーバイド、タングステンカーバイド、アルミナ及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記多孔質体が焼結材料である、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のプレナムの各プレナムが、前記多孔質体内の自由流れの少なくとも9倍のコンダクタンスを有する、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記加圧流体が、気体、液体又は蒸気のいずれか一つである、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記多孔質体及び前記複数のプレナムが、多孔質規制の各側間の圧力差下で変形しないように構成されている、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
- 前記ランナーが曲面を有する、請求項9に記載の気体静圧又は液体静圧軸受シールアセンブリ。
