Abstract
【解決手段】繊維強化樹脂部材1と樹脂部材2を当接させ、繊維強化樹脂部材1と樹脂部材2との当接面に隣接する繊維強化樹脂部材1の樹脂および樹脂部材2の樹脂を軟化もしくは溶融させ、軟化もしくは溶融させた繊維強化樹脂部材1の樹脂等からなる接合形成部3を当接面に直交する方向へ撹拌して硬化させる。

Description
本発明の実施の形態に係る接合方法は、摩擦攪拌接合装置の代表的な一例としての複動式摩擦攪拌接合装置を用いて実施される。そのため、まず、本実施の形態に係る接合方法で用いられる複動式摩擦攪拌接合(FSW:Friction Stir Welding)装置の代表的な一例について、図1(a)を参照して概説する。
次に、本実施の形態に係るFSW装置50を用いた接合方法について、図1を参照して概説する。なお、以下では、主に、樹脂(マトリックス樹脂)内に繊維材が混合されてなる繊維強化樹脂からなる繊維強化樹脂部材1と繊維材を含まない樹脂のみからなる樹脂部材2とを接合する方法について説明するが、接合対象となる部材の双方に強化用の繊維材が含有されていてもよいことは勿論である。また、以下では、繊維強化樹脂部材1上に樹脂部材2を載置し、樹脂部材2の上面にFSW装置50の回転工具部51を接触させて当該樹脂部材2側から回転工具部51を挿入する方法について説明するが、繊維強化樹脂部材1側からFSW装置50の回転工具部51を挿入させてもよいことは勿論である。さらに、以下では、2枚の樹脂部材(繊維強化樹脂部材1と樹脂部材2)同士を接合する形態について説明するが、少なくとも繊維強化樹脂からなる繊維強化樹脂部材が含まれていれば、3枚以上の樹脂部材同士を重ね合わせて接合してもよいことは勿論である。
Claims (7)
- 第1樹脂内に繊維材が混合されてなる第1部材と少なくとも第2樹脂を含む第2部材とを接合する接合方法であって、
前記第1部材と前記第2部材を当接させ、前記第1部材と前記第2部材との当接面に隣接する前記第1部材の第1樹脂および前記第2部材の第2樹脂を軟化もしくは溶融させ、軟化もしくは溶融させた前記第1部材の第1樹脂および前記第2部材の第2樹脂と軟化もしくは溶融させた前記第1部材の第1樹脂に含まれる繊維材とからなる接合形成部を前記当接面に対して傾斜する方向へ撹拌して硬化させる、接合方法。 - 前記接合形成部を前記当接面に直交する方向へ撹拌して硬化させる、請求項1に記載の接合方法。
- 前記接合形成部に撹拌部材を挿入し、挿入された該撹拌部材を前記当接面に直交する方向へ移動させて前記接合形成部を前記当接面に直交する方向へ撹拌する、請求項2に記載の接合方法。
- 前記撹拌部材を前記第1部材の前記当接面と対向する対向面もしくは前記第2部材の前記当接面と対向する対向面に接触させ、該撹拌部材により前記第1部材の対向面もしくは前記第2部材の対向面から前記第1部材の第1樹脂および前記第2部材の第2樹脂を軟化もしくは溶融させて該撹拌部材を前記接合形成部に挿入する、請求項3に記載の接合方法。
- 前記第1部材の第1樹脂および前記第2部材の第2樹脂を軟化もしくは溶融させる際、前記撹拌部材を前記当接面に直交する方向に平行な回転軸周りで回転させる、請求項4に記載の接合方法。
- 前記撹拌部材を前記第1部材の対向面もしくは前記第2部材の対向面から前記第1部材と前記第2部材の内部へ移動させながら、前記第1部材の第1樹脂および前記第2部材の第2樹脂を軟化もしくは溶融させて該撹拌部材を前記接合形成部に挿入する、請求項5に記載の接合方法。
- 前記第2部材が繊維材を更に含んでいる、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の接合方法。
