Abstract
Description
本実施の形態1に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置は、第1部材と第2部材を有する、被接合物を部分的に攪拌することにより接合する摩擦攪拌点接合装置であって、円柱状に形成され、軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているピン部材と、円筒状に形成され、ピン部材が内部に挿通されており、軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているショルダ部材と、ピン部材及びショルダ部材を、軸線周りに回転させる回転駆動器と、ピン部材及びショルダ部材を、それぞれ軸線に沿って進退移動させる工具駆動器と、制御器と、を備え、第1部材は、繊維強化プラスチックで構成されていて、ピン部材及びショルダ部材と対向するように配置されていて、制御器は、ピン部材及びショルダ部材が、軸線周りに回転しながら、被接合物と当接するように、回転駆動器及び工具駆動器を動作させる(A)と、(A)の後、ピン部材及びショルダ部材が軸線周りに回転しながら、ピン部材が被接合物からから離れる方向に向かって進むように、又はショルダ部材が被接合物に更に圧入するように、回転駆動器及び工具駆動器を動作させる(B)と、(B)の後、ピン部材及びショルダ部材が軸線周りに回転しながら、ピン部材が被接合物に向かって進むように、又はショルダ部材が被接合物から離れる方向に向かって進むように、回転駆動器及び工具駆動器を動作させる(C)と、(C)の後、ピン部材及びショルダ部材が、軸線周りに回転しながら、ピン部材及びショルダ部材の先端面が被接合物の表面に位置するように、回転駆動器及び工具駆動器を動作させる(D)と、を実行し、ピン部材とショルダ部材が被接合物を押圧する押圧力が、(B)よりも(C)の方が小さくなるように、工具駆動器を制御する、及び/又は、ピン部材とショルダ部材の回転数が、(B)よりも(C)の方が小さくなるように、回転駆動器を制御するように構成されている。
図1は、本実施の形態1に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置の概略構成を示す模式図である。なお、図1においては、図における上下方向を摩擦攪拌点接合装置における上下方向として表している。
次に、本実施の形態1に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置50の制御構成について、図2を参照して具体的に説明する。
次に、摩擦攪拌点接合装置50を用いて実施される摩擦攪拌点接合方法の具体的な工程について、図3、図4A、及び図4Bを参照して具体的に説明する。
Ap・Pp+As・Ps=Tx ・・・ (I)
で定義されるツール平均位置Txの絶対値を小さくするように、工具駆動器53を制御する形態の一例について説明する。
本実施の形態2に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置は、実施の形態1に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置において、第2部材は、金属で構成されていて、開口部を有する孔が設けられていて、制御器は、(C)において、ピン部材の先端部周辺の繊維強化プラスチックの硬度に応じて、ピン部材の移動速度を変更するように構成されている。
図5は、本実施の形態2に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置の概略構成を示す模式図である。なお、図5においては、図における上下方向を摩擦攪拌点接合装置における上下方向として表している。
次に、本実施の形態2に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置の動作及びその作用効果について、図5、図6、図7A及び図7Bを参照しながら説明する。
次に、本実施の形態2に係る摩擦攪拌点接合装置50の変形例について、図8を参照しながら説明する。

Claims (10)
- 第1部材と第2部材を有する、被接合物を部分的に攪拌することにより接合する摩擦攪拌点接合装置であって、
円柱状に形成され、軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているピン部材と、
円筒状に形成され、前記ピン部材が内部に挿通されており、前記軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているショルダ部材と、
前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材を、前記軸線周りに回転させる回転駆動器と、
前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材を、それぞれ前記軸線に沿って進退移動させる工具駆動器と、
制御器と、を備え、
前記第1部材は、繊維強化プラスチックで構成されていて、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材と対向するように配置されていて、
前記制御器は、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が、前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記被接合物と当接するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器を動作させる(A)と、前記(A)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材が前記被接合物からから離れる方向に向かって進むように、又は前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物に更に圧入するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器を動作させる(B)と、前記(B)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材が前記被接合物に向かって進むように、又は前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物から離れる方向に向かって進むように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器を動作させる(C)と、前記(C)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が、前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材の先端面が前記被接合物の表面に位置するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器を動作させる(D)と、を実行し、
前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物を押圧する押圧力が、前記(B)よりも前記(C)の方が小さくなるように、前記工具駆動器を制御する、及び/又は、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材の回転数が、前記(B)よりも前記(C)の方が小さくなるように、前記回転駆動器を制御するように構成されている、摩擦攪拌点接合装置。 - 前記制御器は、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材の回転数が、前記(B)よりも前記(D)の方が小さくなるように、前記回転駆動器を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置。
- 前記制御器は、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物を押圧する押圧力が、前記(C)よりも前記(D)の方が大きくなるように、前記工具駆動器を制御するように構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置。
- 前記第2部材は、繊維強化プラスチックで構成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置。
- 前記第2部材は、金属で構成されていて、開口部を有する孔が設けられていて、
前記制御器は、前記(C)において、前記ピン部材の先端部周辺の前記繊維強化プラスチックの硬度に応じて、前記ピン部材の移動速度を変更するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置。 - 第1部材と第2部材を有する、被接合物を部分的に攪拌することにより接合する摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法であって、
前記摩擦攪拌点接合装置は、
円柱状に形成され、軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているピン部材と、
円筒状に形成され、前記ピン部材が内部に挿通されており、前記軸線周りの回転と該軸線に沿った方向への進退移動とが可能なように構成されているショルダ部材と、
前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材を、前記軸線周りに回転させる回転駆動器と、
前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材を、それぞれ前記軸線に沿って進退移動させる工具駆動器と、を備え、
前記第1部材は、繊維強化プラスチックで構成されていて、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材と対向するように配置されていて、
前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が、前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記被接合物と当接するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器が動作する(A)と、
前記(A)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材が前記被接合物から離れる方向に向かって進むように、又は前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物に更に圧入するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器が動作する(B)と、
前記(B)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材が前記被接合物に向かって進むように、又は前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物から離れる方向に向かって進むように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器が動作する(C)と、
前記(C)の後、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材が、前記軸線周りに回転しながら、前記ピン部材及び前記ショルダ部材の先端面が前記被接合物の表面に位置するように、前記回転駆動器及び前記工具駆動器が動作する(D)と、を備え、
前記(C)において、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物を押圧する押圧力が、前記(B)よりも小さくなるように、前記工具駆動器が動作する、及び/又は、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材の回転数が、前記(B)よりも小さくなるように、前記回転駆動器が動作する、摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法。 - 前記(D)において、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材の回転数が、前記(B)よりも小さくなるように、前記回転駆動器が動作する、請求項6に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法。
- 前記(D)において、前記ピン部材と前記ショルダ部材が前記被接合物を押圧する押圧力が、前記(C)よりも大きくなるように、前記工具駆動器が動作する、請求項6又は7に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法。
- 前記第2部材は、繊維強化プラスチックで構成されている、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法。
- 前記第2部材は、金属で構成されていて、開口部を有する孔が設けられていて、
前記(C)において、前記ピン部材の先端部周辺の前記繊維強化プラスチックの硬度に応じて、前記ピン部材の移動速度を変更するように、前記工具駆動器が動作する、請求項6に記載の摩擦攪拌点接合装置の運転方法。
