Abstract
【解決手段】一対のビード部12間に跨るカーカス14と、ビード部12とトレッド部20とを連結するタイヤサイド部22に設けられたサイド補強層24と、カーカス14のタイヤ径方向外側に設けられ、タイヤ周方向に対して60度〜90度の傾斜角度で傾斜するコードを備えると共に、サイド補強層24をタイヤ径方向に投影したときにサイド補強層24と重なる重複幅Pが、タイヤ断面高さの7.5%以上の長さとなるように配置された補強コード層18と、を有する。

Description
以下、図を参照しながら本発明の実施形態に係るランフラットラジアルタイヤ10(以下、「タイヤ10」と称す。)について説明する。なお、図中矢印TWはタイヤ10の幅方向(タイヤ幅方向)を示し、矢印TRはタイヤ10の径方向(タイヤ径方向)を示す。ここでいうタイヤ幅方向とは、タイヤ10の回転軸と平行な方向を指し、タイヤ軸方向ともいう。また、タイヤ径方向とは、タイヤ10の回転軸と直交する方向をいう。また、符号CLはタイヤ10の赤道面(タイヤ赤道面)を示している。さらに、本実施の形態では、タイヤ径方向に沿ってタイヤ10の回転軸側を「タイヤ径方向内側」、タイヤ径方向に沿ってタイヤ10の回転軸とは反対側を「タイヤ径方向外側」と記載する。一方、タイヤ幅方向に沿ってタイヤ10の赤道面CL側を「タイヤ幅方向内側」、タイヤ幅方向に沿ってタイヤ10の赤道面CLとは反対側を「タイヤ幅方向外側」と記載する。
(作用及び効果)
本発明に係るランフラットラジアルタイヤの効果を確かめるために、以下の実施例1〜7のランフラットラジアルタイヤと、本発明に含まれない比較例1、2のランフラットラジアルタイヤを用意して以下の試験を実施した。
ここで、比較例1のビード部がリムから外れたときの旋回加速度を基準値(100)として、実施例1〜7及び比較例2の各ビード部がリムから外れたときの旋回加速度を表1及び表2の「リム外れ指標」の欄に指数で表した。「リム外れ指標」は、ビード部がリムから外れたときの旋回加速度を指数で表したものであり、大きいほど良好な結果を示している。また、各供試タイヤの重量を測定し、比較例1の重量を基準値(100)として、実施例1〜7及び比較例2の各タイヤの重量を表1及び表2の「重量指標」の欄に指数で表した。「重量指標」は、小さいほど重量が小さいことを示している。なお、以下の表1では、比較例1及び実施例1〜4の結果を示し、表2では、比較例2及び実施例5〜7の結果を示している。
Claims (5)
- 一対のビード部間に跨るカーカスと、
前記ビード部とトレッド部とを連結するタイヤサイド部に設けられたサイド補強層と、
前記カーカスのタイヤ径方向外側に設けられ、タイヤ周方向に対して60度〜90度の傾斜角度で傾斜するコードを備えると共に、前記サイド補強層をタイヤ径方向に投影したときに、前記サイド補強層と重なる重複幅が、タイヤ断面高さの7.5%以上の長さとなるように配置された補強コード層と、
を有するランフラットラジアルタイヤ。 - 前記トレッド部の前記補強コード層よりタイヤ径方向内側には、タイヤ周方向に対して15度〜30度の傾斜角度で傾斜する傾斜ベルト層が設けられている請求項1に記載のランフラットラジアルタイヤ。
- 前記補強コード層は、前記トレッド部の両端部に設けられている請求項1又は2に記載のランフラットラジアルタイヤ。
- 前記補強コード層は、有機繊維のコードにより構成されている請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のランフラットラジアルタイヤ。
- タイヤ断面高さが115mm以上である請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載のランフラットラジアルタイヤ。
