Abstract
Description
フランス法は、溶融させた金属亜鉛をレトルトの中で約1000℃に加熱し、発生する亜鉛蒸気を空気で酸化させ、これを送風機で空冷管に送って冷却し、サイクロンおよびバグフィルターで分離、捕集する方法である。
ドイツ法は、硫酸亜鉛または塩化亜鉛の水溶液にソーダ灰溶液を加えてできる白色の塩基性炭酸亜鉛の沈殿を水洗乾燥後焼成して製造する方法である。
乾式法に代わる方法として水溶性亜鉛塩を尿素と共に溶解し、加熱処理することで針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得る方法(例えば、特許文献2参照)が提案されているが、得られる針状粒子の形態が均一に制御できない。さらに、合成時の濃度が0.01モル/リットル未満であり非常に収率が低く生産効率が低い。
また、上記製造方法にて得られた針状酸化亜鉛粒子を300℃から1500℃にて焼成処理しても良く、この焼成処理を行うことにより、酸化亜鉛の結晶性が向上され、触媒活性などを制御することができる。
さらに、得られた針状酸化亜鉛粒子をポリシロキサン、アルキルアルコキシシラン化合物、アルキルチタネート化合物、フッ素化合物などの化合物で表面被覆処理することにより、疎水性を有する針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得ることができ、また、その針状酸化亜鉛粒子を化粧料に配合することによって、紫外線遮蔽効果、透明感、シワ隠し効果や使用感に優れた化粧料を提供することが可能であることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
ここで、ドープとは、何らかの形で針状酸化亜鉛粒子に金属酸化物を付加することを意味し、その付加状態を問うものではなく、針状酸化亜鉛粒子に金属酸化物の一部が入り込んでいる状態も、針状酸化亜鉛粒子に金属酸化物が被覆されている状態も、このドープの概念に包括される。
また、金属酸化物をドープする場合には、亜鉛塩の溶液中にドープする金属塩を混合し、その後40℃以上の温度条件下で10分以上をかけてアミン化合物溶液を滴下することで沈殿物が得られる。得られた沈殿物は水洗、ろ過、乾燥、粉砕を行うことにより、針状粒子を得ることができる。なお、加熱反応中は撹拌を行っても構わない。
アミン化合物としては、アンモニア、エチルアミン、エタノールアミン、ジエチルアミン、ジエタノールアミン、トリエチルアミン、トリエタノールアミン、ヘキサメチレンテトラミンなどが挙げられる。このうち、ヘキサメチレンテトラミンが特に好ましい。
また、金属酸化物をドープする時の原子価が+4以下の金属イオンの金属塩としては、硝酸鉄、硝酸ジルコニウム、硝酸マグネシウム、硝酸コバルト、硝酸ニッケル、硝酸アルミニウム、硝酸カルシウム、硝酸銅、硝酸クロム、硝酸マンガン、塩化カルシウム、塩化銀、塩化クロム、塩化コバルト、塩化すず、塩化鉄、塩化銅、塩化ニッケル、塩化マグネシウム、硫酸アルミニウム、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸銀、硫酸すず、硫酸鉄、硫酸銅、硫酸ニッケル、硫酸マグネシウム、硫酸マンガンなどが挙げられるが、これらから合成される金属酸化物のドープにより、自由電子および正孔を補足するという条件を満足する限り、特に限定されるものではない。
a)フッ素化合物処理・・・パーフルオロアルキルリン酸エステル処理やパーフルオロアルキルシラン処理、パーフルオロポリエーテル処理、フルオロシリコーン処理、フッ素化シリコーン樹脂処理など
b)シリコーン処理・・・メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン処理、ジメチルポリシロキサン処理、気相法テトラメチルテトラハイドロジェンシクロテトラシロキサン処理など
c)ペンダント処理・・・気相法シリコーン処理後にアルキル鎖などを付加する処理
d)シランカップリング剤処理
e)チタンカップリング剤処理
f)アルミニウムカップリング剤処理
g)油剤処理
h)N−アシル化リジン処理
i)ポリアクリル酸処理
j)金属石鹸処理・・・ステアリン酸塩処理やミリスチン酸塩処理など
k)アクリル樹脂処理
l)金属酸化物処理
m)多糖類処理
n)天然由来成分処理
酸化亜鉛(微細酸化亜鉛:堺化学製)を81.4g測り取り、水500mlに分散した。その分散液中に69%の硝酸180gを撹拌しながら徐々に加え、酸化亜鉛を完全に溶解させた。その後、水を加え1000mlにメスアップし、1モル/リットルの亜鉛溶液を調製した。
上記の1モル/リットルの亜鉛溶液50mlに水を加え500mlにし、85℃にまで加温した。その溶液中に0.1モル/リットルのヘキサメチレンテトラリン溶液500mlを8.3ml/minの流量にて全量滴下した後、3時間反応を行った。沈殿物を水洗、ろ過、乾燥を行い、平均長径が3μm、平均短径が0.5μmの針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得た。その後、400℃にて3時間焼成を行った。
図1には、製造実施例1にて得られた針状酸化亜鉛粒子を、走査型電子顕微鏡にて観察した写真が示されている。
上記の1モル/リットルの亜鉛溶液25mlに水を加え500mlにし、85℃にまで加温した。その溶液中に0.05モル/リットルのヘキサメチレンテトラリン溶液500mlを8.3ml/minの流量にて全量滴下した後、3時間反応を行った。沈殿物を水洗、ろ過、乾燥を行い、平均長径が4μm、平均短径が0.3μmの針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得た。その後、400℃にて2時間焼成を行った。
上記の1モル/リットルの亜鉛溶液25mlに水を加え500mlに溶解し、硝酸マグネシウム・6水和物0.06gを亜鉛溶液中に加え完全に溶解した後、85℃にまで加温した。その溶液中に0.05モル/リットルのヘキサメチレンテトラリン溶液500mlを8.3ml/minの流量にて全量滴下した後、3時間反応を行った。沈殿物を水洗、ろ過、乾燥を行い、平均長径が3μm、平均短径が0.3μmの酸化マグネシウムをドープした針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得た。その後、400℃にて2時間焼成を行った。
製造実施例1にて得られた針状酸化亜鉛粒子に、メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサンにて表面被覆処理を施した。ここでの表面被覆処理は、以下の通りである。
すなわち、ヘンシェルミキサーに製造実施例1で得られた針状酸化亜鉛粒子の粉体1000質量部を入れ、続いてメチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン20.4質量部をイソプロピルアルコール125質量部に溶解させた溶液を滴下混合し、多針状酸化亜鉛粉体と良く混合した。その後、ヘンシェルミキサー内を加熱および減圧し、イソプロピルアルコールを除去した。処理された粉体をヘンシェルミキサーから取り出し、粉砕して加熱処理を行い、シリコーン化合物が2質量%表面被覆処理された被覆多針状酸化亜鉛粒子を得た。
光触媒粉体の試験片は20mm×15mmの平板にし、密閉容器に入れ、そこに濃度が1ppmの一酸化窒素ガスを200ml/分の流量で試験片の入った容器に通気させた。その後、試験片に290nm以上および400nm以上の光を照射した時の一酸化窒素ガスの濃度を測定した。光触媒活性の測定結果が表2に示されている。
〔サンスクリーンの製造〕
表3に示される処方と下記製造方法に従いサンスクリーンを調製した。なお、表中の配合量の単位は質量%である。
成分AおよびBをそれぞれ80℃にて混合し、均一に分散したのを確認した後、30℃まで冷却する。冷却後成分Bを成分Aにホモミキサーにて撹拌しながら少しずつ添加し、均一になるまで良く混合し、針状粉体配合サンスクリーンを得た。
製造実施例4で製造された被覆多針状酸化亜鉛の代わりに、シリコーン処理された市販されている酸化亜鉛を用いた他は全て実施例1と同様にして製品を得た。
Claims (4)
- 平均長径が10μm以下、平均短径が1.0μm以下であり、そのアスペクト比が4以上であり、且つジメチルポリシロキサンに20質量%分散したペーストを0.025mmの膜厚にした試料をヘーズメーターにて測定した時の拡散透過光率が40%以上であることを特徴とする針状酸化亜鉛粒子。
- 請求項1に記載の針状酸化亜鉛粒子に電荷が+4以下の金属イオンがドープされていることを特徴とする針状酸化亜鉛粒子。
- 請求項1の針状酸化亜鉛粒子の製造方法であって、酸化亜鉛を酸性溶液によって再溶解した水溶性亜鉛化合物を40℃以上に加温し、その溶液にアミン化合物を10分以上で滴下することによって合成することを特徴とする針状酸化亜鉛粒子の製造方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の針状酸化亜鉛粒子を含有することを特徴とする化粧料。
