Abstract
Description
図1は、車両の懸架装置に用いられるサスペンションアーム10の斜視図で、本発明方法に従って製造されたものである。このサスペンションアーム10は、中空で長手形状のサスペンションアーム本体12と、そのサスペンションアーム本体12の長手方向の両端部14にそれぞれ溶接により一体的に固設された一対のブッシュ用外筒16とを備えている。ブッシュ用外筒16は丸パイプにて構成されているとともに、内部に弾性部材を介して内筒が設けられ、その内筒を介して車両に取り付けられる。サスペンションアーム本体12の両端部14は筒状接合部に相当する。
Claims (4)
- サスペンションアーム本体に設けられた筒状接合部の先端の開口が塞がれるように、該先端にブッシュ用外筒が溶接により一体的に接合されているサスペンションアームにおいて、
前記先端は、前記ブッシュ用外筒の円筒外周面に突き合わされることにより全周に亘って該円筒外周面に接するように、該円筒外周面に対応する円弧形状とされており、
該先端が全周に亘って前記円筒外周面に接するように突き合わされた状態で、該先端が全周に亘って該円筒外周面に溶接されている
ことを特徴とするサスペンションアーム。 - サスペンションアーム本体に設けられた筒状接合部の先端の開口が塞がれるように、該先端にブッシュ用外筒を溶接により一体的に接合するサスペンションアームの製造方法において、
前記先端は、前記ブッシュ用外筒の円筒外周面に突き合わされることにより全周に亘って該円筒外周面に接するように、該円筒外周面に対応する円弧形状とされており、
該先端が全周に亘って前記円筒外周面に接するように突き合わせた状態で、該先端の全周に溶接を施して該円筒外周面に接合する
ことを特徴とするサスペンションアームの製造方法。 - 前記先端の前記円弧形状の周方向の外端部では、少なくとも前記開口の内周縁部が前記円筒外周面に接触させられる一方、
該外端部の肉厚と同じかそれより外側の外端部端面は、前記円筒外周面との間にV字状の窪みが形成されるように外端へ向かうに従って該円筒外周面から離間させられており、
前記窪みが形成される前記外端部では、該窪みの底部を含んで入熱されるように該窪みに向かって溶接する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のサスペンションアームの製造方法。 - 前記窪みの開き角度θは30°以上で、
前記外端部端面は、前記筒状接合部の軸線に対して直角な方向において前記外端部の外端から該外端部の肉厚t以下で且つ該肉厚tの1/2以上の範囲に設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のサスペンションアームの製造方法。
