Claims (22)

を含む方法 - 前記マトリクス材料は、約5wt%以下の含水量を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質体は約800m/分以下の線速度にて生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 約10秒以下の滞留時間内に電磁放射線を照射することが起こる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 連続的に結合することは、前記マトリクス材料を前記紙ラッパー内へ供給する高密度の空気相(pneumatic dense phase feeding)を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 加熱することは、前記金型内の前記マトリクス材料の前記少なくとも一部を軟化する以上の温度への加熱である、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記活性粒子は、ナノスケール炭素粒子、少なくとも1つの壁を有するカーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノホーン、竹状カーボンナノ構造体、フラーレン、フラーレン凝集体、グラフェン、数層グラフェン、酸化グラフェン、酸化鉄ナノ粒子、ナノ粒子、金属ナノ粒子、金ナノ粒子、銀ナノ粒子、金属酸化物ナノ粒子、アルミナナノ粒子、磁性ナノ粒子、常磁性ナノ粒子、超常磁性ナノ粒子、酸化ガドリニウムナノ粒子、ヘマタイトナノ粒子、マグネタイトナノ粒子、ガドナノチューブ、エンドフラーレン、Gd@C60、コアシェルナノ粒子、玉ねぎ状ナノ粒子、ナノシェル、玉ねぎ状酸化鉄ナノ粒子、およびそのあらゆる組合せからなる群から選択された少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記マトリクス材料は、前記結合粒子に対する前記活性粒子の割合が、約1wt%の活性粒子および約99wt%の結合粒子から約99wt%の活性粒子および約1wt%の結合粒子であることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質体は、約40%〜約90%の空隙容量を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質体は、少なくとも約1mg/mmの活性粒子が添加され、および多孔質体のmm長さ当たり約20mmH2O未満のカプセル化された圧力低下を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質体は、少なくとも約6mg/mmの炭素が添加され、およびmm長さ当たり約20mmH2O以下のカプセル化された圧力低下を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記活性粒子は、活性炭素を含み、前記結合粒子がポリエチレンを含み、前記マトリクス材料が、約50:50から約90:10の重量比の前記活性粒子および前記結合粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 所望の断面形状を形成するために、マトリクス材料および紙ラッパーを連続的に結合することであって、前記マトリクス材料は、前記紙ラッパーにより制限され、前記マトリクス材料は結合粒子および活性粒子を含む混合と、
前記マトリクス材料を複数の接触点で結合し、それによって長尺多孔質体を形成するように、前記マトリクス材料の少なくとも一部を加熱することであって、前記加熱は前記マトリクス材料の前記少なくとも一部に電磁放射線を照射することを含む加熱と、
前記長尺多孔質体を冷却することと、
