Claims (5)
- 変換ヘッドと記憶媒体との間の接触を検出する方法であって、前記方法は、
選択電力レベルおよび既知の周波数を有する入力信号を、前記変換ヘッドを作動させるためのアクチュエータに付与するステップと、
前記入力信号に応答して出力信号を得るステップと、
前記アクチュエータに付与される前記入力信号と同一の既知の周波数または同一の既知の周波数の高調波の前記出力信号から少なくとも1つの信号成分を抽出するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、前記変換ヘッドと前記媒体との間の接触を示すかどうかを判断するステップと、
前記入力信号を前記アクチュエータに付与するステップ、前記入力信号に応答して出力信号を得るステップ、および、前記出力信号から前記少なくとも1つの信号成分を抽出するステップを、前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が前記変換ヘッドと前記記憶媒体との間の接触を示すまで、付与される波形の電力レベルを増加することによって繰返すステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、前記変換ヘッドと前記媒体との間の接触を示すかどうかを判断するステップは、前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、しきい値よりも大きい値を有するときに前記接触が起きたと判断するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 変換ヘッドと記憶媒体との間の接触を検出する方法であって、前記方法は、
選択電力レベルおよび既知の周波数を有する入力信号を、前記変換ヘッドを作動させるためのアクチュエータに付与するステップと、
前記入力信号に応答して出力信号を得るステップと、
前記アクチュエータに付与される前記入力信号と同一の既知の周波数または同一の既知の周波数の高調波の前記出力信号から少なくとも1つの信号成分を抽出するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分がしきい値よりも大きい値を有するかどうかを判断するステップと、
前記アクチュエータに前記入力信号を付与するステップ、前記入力信号に応答して出力信号を得るステップ、および、前記出力信号から少なくとも1つの信号成分を抽出するステップを、前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分の値が前記しきい値よりも大きくなるまで、付与される波形の電力レベルを増加することによって繰返すステップとを含む、方法。 - 変換ヘッドを作動させ、かつ、選択電力レベルおよび既知の周波数を有する入力信号を受信するように構成されるアクチュエータと、
前記入力信号に応答して出力信号を得るように構成されるチャネルと、
コントローラとを備え、前記コントローラは、
前記アクチュエータに付与される前記入力信号と同一の既知の周波数または同一の既知の周波数の高調波の前記出力信号から少なくとも1つの信号成分を抽出し、かつ、
前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、前記変換ヘッドと表面との間の接触を示すかどうかを判断するように構成される、データ記憶装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記出力信号からの前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、しきい値よりも大きい値を有するとき、前記少なくとも1つの抽出された信号成分が、前記変換ヘッドと前記媒体との間の接触を示すかどうかを判断する、請求項4に記載のデータ記憶装置。
