Claims (7)
- 照明システムであり、
一次放射線を発するよう構成される光源と、
前記一次放射線の少なくとも一部を二次放射線に変換するよう構成される放射線変換素子と、
前記照明システムにおいて生成される、或るカットオフ波長より短い波長を持つ放射線をブロックするよう構成されるフィルタとを有する照明システムであって、前記フィルタが、前記放射線変換素子の発光スペクトル中に、前記フィルタの前記カットオフ波長を配設することによって、前記二次放射線の一部をブロックするよう設計される照明システム。 - 前記フィルタが、ブロックした放射線を、前記放射線変換素子内へ後方反射する干渉フィルタである請求項1に記載の照明システム。
- 前記干渉フィルタが、バンドパス反射フィルタである請求項2に記載の照明システム。
- 前記放射線変換素子の吸収スペクトル及び発光スペクトルが、実質的に、部分的に重なる請求項2又は3に記載の照明システム。
- 前記フィルタの前記カットオフ波長が、前記放射線変換素子の前記吸収スペクトル及び前記発光スペクトルが交差する波長と実質的に一致する請求項4に記載の照明システム。
- 前記放射線変換素子のストークスシフトが0.20eVより小さい請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の照明システム。
- 前記放射線変換素子の発光スペクトルが、585乃至625nmの範囲内にピーク発光波長を持つ請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の照明システム。
