Abstract
【解決手段】EGR装置は、燃焼室16から排出される排気の一部をEGRガスとして吸気通路3へ流して燃焼室16へ還流させるEGR通路17と、EGR通路17のEGRガスを調節するEGR弁18とを備える。EGR弁18は、弁座32、弁体33及びステップモータ34を含む。電子制御装置(ECU)50は、エンジン1の運転状態に応じた目標開度を算出し、EGR弁18の動作中に、EGR弁18を所定開度に保持するときにステップモータ34への通電をカットし、その後にEGR弁18を目標開度へ制御するときには、ステップモータ34への通電を再開すると共に通電カットからの経過時間に応じた通電カット補正値を算出し、その通電カット補正値により目標開度を補正する。

Claims (4)
- エンジンの燃焼室から排気通路へ排出される排気の一部を排気還流ガスとして吸気通路へ流して前記燃焼室へ還流させる排気還流通路と、
前記排気還流通路における前記排気還流ガスの流量を調節するために前記排気還流通路に設けられた電動式の排気還流弁と、
前記排気還流弁が、弁座と、前記弁座に着座可能に設けられた弁体と、前記弁体を駆動するためのモータとを含むことと、
前記エンジンの運転状態に応じて前記排気還流弁を制御するための制御手段と
を備えたエンジンの排気還流装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記エンジンの運転状態に応じた目標開度を算出し、前記排気還流弁の動作中に、前記排気還流弁を所定の開度に保持するときには前記モータへの通電をカットし、その後に前記排気還流弁を前記目標開度へ制御するときには前記モータへの通電を再開すると共に、前記モータへの通電をカットしてからの経過時間に応じた通電カット補正値を算出し、その通電カット補正値により前記目標開度を補正することを特徴とするエンジンの排気還流装置。 - 前記制御手段は、更に、前記モータへの通電を再開してからの経過時間に応じた通電開始補正値を算出し、その通電開始補正値により前記目標開度を更に補正することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気還流装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記通電カット補正値の算出を、所定の上限値と所定の下限値との範囲内に制限したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気還流装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記通電開始補正値の算出を、所定の上限値と所定の下限値との範囲内に制限したことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のエンジンの排気還流装置。
