Abstract
【解決手段】間隙を介して対向する高圧電極101aと外側電極101bとを有し、前記間隙に火花放電を発生して内燃機関の燃焼室内の可燃混合気を点火させる点火プラグ101と、所定の高電圧を発生し、前記高電圧を高圧電極101aに供給して前記間隙に前記火花放電の経路を形成させる点火コイル装置102と、バンドパスフィルタを有し、前記火花放電の経路に交流電流を供給する高周波電源103と、高周波電源103の動作時期を制御する制御装置104とを備え、前記バンドパスフィルタは、1MHzから4MHzの周波数を通過させる。

Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1による点火装置の構成図である。図1に於いて、点火装置100は、内燃機関の燃焼室内の可燃混合気を火花放電の発生により点火させる点火プラグ101と、火花放電経路を形成するために点火プラグ101に所定の高電圧を印加する火花放電経路生成装置としての点火コイル装置102と、前記火花放電経路に大きな放電プラズマを形成するための交流電流を供給する電流供給装置としての高周波電源103と、高周波電源103の動作時期を制御する制御装置104とを備えている。また、制御装置104は、点火コイル装置102の動作も制御する。
前記制御装置により制御される前記電流供給装置の動作時期は、前記火花放電経路生成装置により生成される誘導電流に基づく前記点火プラグの対地間容量および前記コンデンサの充電電圧が、前記間隙の絶縁破壊電圧に達することにより流れる容量電流の流れ終えた時点以降であることを特徴とするものである。
Claims (4)
- 間隙を介して対向する第1の電極と第2の電極とを有し、前記間隙に火花放電を発生して内燃機関の燃焼室内の可燃混合気を点火させる点火プラグと、
所定の高電圧を発生し、前記高電圧を前記第1の電極に供給して前記間隙に前記火花放電の経路を形成させる火花放電経路生成装置と、
バンドパスフィルタを有し、前記火花放電の経路に交流電流を供給する電流供給装置と、
前記電流供給装置の動作時期を制御する制御装置と、
を備え、
前記バンドパスフィルタは、1MHzから4MHzの周波数を通過させることを特徴とする点火装置。 - 前記バンドパスフィルタは、インダクタとコンデンサとを備え、
前記インダクタは、40マイクロヘンリーから120マイクロヘンリーのインダクタンス値を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火装置。 - 前記バンドパスフィルタは、インダクタとコンデンサとを備え、前記コンデンサは、40ピコファラドから200ピコファラドの容量値を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火装置。
- 前記バンドパスフィルタは、インダクタとコンデンサとを備え、
前記インダクタは、40マイクロヘンリーから120マイクロヘンリーのインダクタンス値を有すると共に、前記コンデンサは、40ピコファラドから200ピコファラドの容量値を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火装置。
