Abstract
【解決手段】煙道ガス中に含まれる水銀をまず、吸着試薬(例えば活性炭)を含有する吸収試薬(例えばスクラビング溶液)と接触させる方法において、吸収試薬によって煙道ガスから水銀が吸収された後に、吸着試薬への吸着によって吸収試薬から水銀を実質的に除去する。

Description
本発明による方法では、吸着試薬は、例えば微粒子の形で煙道ガス中に吹き込むことができる。この場合に、水銀は、煙道ガスから吸着剤によって実質的に直接的に吸着される。また、吸着剤は、湿式FGDなどの湿式スクラビング過程に添加することもできる。この場合に、煙道ガス中に含まれる水銀は、まず部分的に溶解され、そして吸着試薬によって液相から実質的に吸着される。また、湿式スクラビング過程の上流の燃焼煙道ガス中に吸着試薬を導入することによって、気相と液相からの吸着を組み合わせることもできる。
Claims (11)
- 煙道ガスから水銀を除去する方法において、
a)煙道ガス中に存在する水銀を、吸着試薬を含む吸収試薬と接触させ、それにより水銀を実質的に該吸着試薬上に吸着させること、
b)吸着された水銀を含む吸着試薬を吸収試薬から分離すること、
c)該吸着試薬を、酸化試薬と接触させ、それにより吸着された水銀を脱着させ、そして溶液中にHg2+の形で溶解させること、
d)前記のHg2+富化された溶液から吸着試薬を分離すること、及び
e)該溶液からHg2+を除去すること
を含む方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、Hg2+が存在する溶液と沈殿試薬とを混合し、Hg2+とともに低溶解度沈殿物を形成させ、該沈殿物を溶液から分離することによって、Hg2+を溶液から除去することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、沈殿試薬として有機スルフィドを使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、Hg2+を溶液から除去するにあたり、該溶液とイオン交換体とを接触させることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、煙道ガス中に存在するHg0を酸化させてから、煙道ガス中に存在する水銀を、吸着試薬を含有する吸収試薬と接触させることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、煙道ガス脱硫プラントの前に又は該プラントにおいて、吸着試薬を煙道ガスに添加することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、煙道ガス中に存在する水銀と吸着試薬との接触を、吸着試薬が添加される煙道ガス脱硫プラントで使用される液相中で実施することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法において、煙道ガス脱硫プラント中で生成する固形物質と吸着剤とを、遠心分離によって分離することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、酸化試薬として、次亜塩素酸塩、二酸化塩素もしくは塩素ガス又は任意の他の強力な酸化試薬を使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、吸着試薬として、活性炭を使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、吸着試薬を、酸化試薬を含有する溶液と接触させた後に、該吸着試薬を分離し、そして再循環させることを特徴とする方法。
