Abstract
【解決手段】水と、共溶媒と、界面活性剤と、アクリレートエラストマラテックスと、着色剤とを含む伸縮可能なインク組成物であって、製剤化に関してよりコスト効率が優れたインクをもたらし、かつ変形可能な基質上に印刷される場合でさえロバストな画像を提供する。

Description
アクリレートラテックスPlextol B 500およびAcronal 500D(それぞれ50wt%の固体含有量)(Kremer Pigmente GmbH & Co.KG,Germanyから市販されている)を本研究において用いた。Plextol B 500は、ブチルアクリレートおよびメタクリレートに基づくコポリマーの純粋な水性アクリル分散系である。ガラス転移温度は約9℃、破断点引張り強度は約3N/mm2、破断点伸びは約500である。Acronal 500Dは、アクリル酸エステルおよびビニルアセテートに基づくコポリマーの水性分散系である。ガラス転移温度は約−13℃、破断点引張り強度は約1.5N/mm2、破断点伸びは約2,500である。
アクリレートラテックスを2つの共溶媒で混合して粘度を下げると同時に、材料が印刷ノズル中で乾燥する虞も少なくした。エチレングリコールおよびエトキシレート化グリセロールが、一緒に用いた場合にインクの乾燥時間を減らすのに最も有効であることが分かった。双方のエマルジョンを、水、エチレングリコールおよびエトキシレート化グリセロールにより種々の比率で希釈した。種々の混合物の粒子サイズを分析して、共溶媒とラテックスとの和合性が示された。試験した最大の共溶媒含有量であってさえ、ラテックスの平均粒子サイズは、純粋なラテックス(溶媒を加えなかった)と比較して、不変のままであった。以下の表1は、粒子サイズを示す。
Claims (10)
- 水と;
共溶媒と;
界面活性剤と;
アクリレートエラストマラテックスと;
着色剤と;
を含む伸縮可能なインク組成物であって、変形可能な基質上でロバストな画像を印刷し、かつ形成することができる伸縮可能なインク組成物。 - アクリレートエラストマラテックスが、アクリレートおよびクロロエチルビニルエーテルのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびアクリロニトリルのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびスチレンのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびビニルアセテートのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびエチレンのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびメタクリレートのコポリマー、ブチルアクリレートおよびメタクリレートのコポリマー、アクリレートおよびビニルアセテートのコポリマー、ならびにこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるコポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の伸縮可能なインク。
- アクリレートエラストマラテックスが、約20から約600nmの平均粒子サイズを有する、請求項1に記載の伸縮可能なインク組成物。
- アクリレートエラストマラテックスは、伸縮可能なインクの総重量の約1から約25重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の伸縮可能なインク。
- 粘度が室温にて約3から約50cpsの範囲であり、噴射粘度が約3から約20cpsである、請求項1に記載の伸縮可能なインク。
- 伸縮可能なインク組成物で印刷した画像は、人間の肉眼で見えるいかなるひび割れもはく離も示すことなく、複数の方向に約101%から約500%まで伸長され得る、請求項1に記載の伸縮可能なインク。
- 第1アクリレートエラストマを含む第1ラテックスと;
第2アクリレートエラストマを含む第2ラテックスと;
着色剤および界面活性剤を含む分散系と;
水と;
任意で共溶媒と;
を含む伸縮可能なインク組成物。 - 変形可能な基質と;
変形可能な基質上に印刷した画像と;
を含むパターン付き物品であって、画像は、
水と;
共溶媒と;
界面活性剤と;
アクリレートエラストマラテックスと;
着色剤と;
を含む伸縮可能なインクから形成される、パターン付き物品。 - 変形可能な基質は、プラスチック、ゴム、布地およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載のパターン付き物品。
- 印刷した画像は、画像が伸長していない場合に対して、画像が一軸方向に約150%伸長した場合に、約3.5未満の色差(ΔE)を有する、請求項8に記載のパターン付き物品。
