該コントローラは、該ロックアウトメカニズムの故障を示す電流ドローの降下に応答して、該モータへの電流の供給を終わらせるように構成されている、
外科用器具。 - 前記コントローラは、前記電流ドローの降下に応答して、故障状態をメモリに格納するようにさらに構成されている、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記使い捨てのエンドエフェクタが、前記ハンドルアセンブリから取り外された後、前記故障状態はクリアされる、請求項7に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記コントローラは、前記電流ドローの変化率に基づいて電流ドローの降下を検出するように構成されている、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記顎アセンブリは、前記ロックアウトメカニズムに結合されている駆動ビームを備えている、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記ロックアウトメカニズムは、前記駆動ビームが遠位方向に移動すると、ロックされていない状態とロックされた状態との間を移行するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記電流ドローの降下は、前記ロックアウトメカニズムが、前記駆動ビームの引き込みの際に前記ロックされた状態に移行し損なったことに対応している、請求項11に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記ロックアウトメカニズムは、ロックされていない位置とロックされた位置との間で旋回可能であるロッキング部材を備えている、請求項12に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記顎アセンブリは、筐体をさらに備え、該筐体は、該筐体に取り付けられている突起を画定し、該突起は、前記駆動ビームが引き込まれると、前記ロッキング部材を係合するように構成されている、請求項13に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記コントローラに結合されている制御アセンブリをさらに備え、該コントローラは、前記電流ドローの降下に応答して、ユーザ入力を無視する、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 外科用器具を制御する方法であって、該方法は、
使い捨てのエンドエフェクタに動作可能に結合されているモータを作動させるステップであって、該使い捨てのエンドエフェクタは、
顎アセンブリに結合されている駆動ビームであって、該顎アセンブリは、複数のステープルを含むステープルカートリッジと発射の際に該複数のステープルを形成するアンビルとを備えている、駆動ビームと、
該駆動ビームに結合されているロックアウトメカニズムであって、該ロックアウトメカニズムは、該駆動ビームが引き込まれると、ロックされていない状態からロックされた状態へ移行するように構成されている、ロックアウトメカニズムと
を備えている、ステップと、
該モータの電流ドローを測定するステップと、
該ロックアウトメカニズムの故障を示す電流ドローの降下に応答して、該モータへの電流の供給を終わらせるステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記電流ドローの降下に応答して、メモリに故障状態を格納するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記使い捨てのエンドエフェクタが、前記ハンドルアセンブリから取り外された後、前記故障状態をクリアするステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
