Abstract
【解決手段】スチールコード1が、芯ストランド2の外周面に複数本の側ストランド3を撚り合わせたストランド構造であり、芯ストランド2の外周面が不織布または樹脂フィルムからなる緩衝材4により覆われていて、このスチールコード1が未加硫ゴム部材に埋設されたゴム成形体を、緩衝材4の融点以上の温度で加硫する。

Description
それぞれの試験サンプルをJIS G3510:1992に準拠して破断するまで長手方向に引張り、破断時における荷重をコード強力、破断時における伸びを切断伸びとした。
それぞれの試験サンプルをオーストラリア規格(AS−1333)による「空気透過性試験方法」に準拠して、試験サンプルの長手方向の一端部から100kPaの空気圧を圧入し、空気圧を圧入した後の60秒間に他端部側に透過した空気圧を測定し、その結果を表1に記載した。この空気圧が小さいほど耐空気透過性に優れ、スチールコードに対するゴム浸透性が優れていることを示す。尚、5kPa未満であれば十分な耐空気透過性を有していると判断できる。

Claims (6)
- 芯ストランドの外周面に複数本の側ストランドを撚り合わせたストランド構造のスチールコードにおいて、前記芯ストランドの外周面が不織布または樹脂フィルムからなる緩衝材により覆われていることを特徴とするスチールコード。
- 前記緩衝材の融点が160℃以下である請求項1に記載のスチールコード。
- 前記緩衝材が不織布であり、その目付け量が10g/m2以上40g/m2以下である請求項1または2に記載のスチールコード。
- 前記緩衝材が芯ストランドにスパイラル状に巻き付けられている請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のスチールコード。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のスチールコードが未加硫ゴム部材に埋設されたゴム成形体を、前記緩衝材の融点以上の温度で加硫することを特徴とするゴム製品の製造方法。
- 前記ゴム製品がコンベヤベルトであり、前記スチールコードが心体として前記未加硫ゴム部材に埋設される請求項5に記載のゴム製品の製造方法。
