Abstract
Description
本発明の防弾素材として、商品名Heracron HT640(コーロンインダストリー社製)を使用した。前記Heracron HT640は、引張強度が2.0Gpaであり、熱分解温度が550℃である。
実施例2
Heracron HT640を厚さ50mm、電池モジュール(二次電池8個含み)の外装材の最外側の広い表面と同一の面積で用意した。前記用意したHeracron HT640を電池モジュール外装材の最外側の広い表面に、接着剤を用いて介在した。
Heracron HT640を厚さ100mm、電池パック(二次電池48個含み)の外装材の最外側の広い表面と同一の面積で用意した。前記用意したHeracron HT640を電池パック外装材の最外側の広い表面に、接着剤を用いて介在した。
実施例1の防弾素材が介在されていない二次電池。
実施例2の防弾素材が介在されていない電池モジュール。
実施例3の防弾素材が介在されていない電池パック。
前記製作された実施例および比較例の電池、電池モジュールおよび電池パックを4.2Vの電圧下で完全に充電し、直径2.5〜20mmの釘(nail)を用いて電池、電池モジュールおよび電池パックの中央および側面を貫通させた後、発火有無を観察した。この際、釘刺しは12m/minの速度で行い、前記実施例および比較例の電池、電池モジュールおよび電池パックの安全性を評価した。

Claims (14)
- 一つ以上の耐衝撃素材を備えてなる、二次電池。
- 前記耐衝撃素材が、1.0〜6.0Gpaの引張強度を有しており、150℃以上で熱分解される高強度および高耐熱性を有する耐衝撃素材であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記耐衝撃素材が、アラミド繊維、ガラス繊維、UHMWPE繊維及びポリベンゾオキサゾール繊維からなる群から選択される一種以上のものであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記耐衝撃素材が、電極組立体の表面、電池外装材の内側面および電池外装材の最外側面の少なくとも何れか一つに備えられてなることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の二次電池を備えた、電池モジュール。
- 電池モジュールであって、
直列又は並列に連結した複数の二次電池を備えてなり、
前記電池モジュールの内部、電池モジュール外装材の内側面および電池モジュール外装材の最外側面の少なくとも何れか一つに、一つ以上の耐衝撃素材が備えられてなる、電池モジュール。 - 前記耐衝撃素材が、1.0Gpa〜6.0Gpaの引張強度を有しており、150℃以上で熱分解される高強度および高耐熱性を有する耐衝撃素材であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記耐衝撃素材が、アラミド繊維、ガラス繊維、UHMWPE繊維及びポリベンゾオキサゾール繊維からなる群から選択される一種以上のものであることを特徴とする、請求項6又は7に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記二次電池が、一つ以上の前記耐衝撃素材を備えた二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項6〜8の何れか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 電池パックであって、
複数の電池モジュールを備えてなり、
前記電池パックの内部、電池パック外装材の内側面および電池パック外装材の最外側面の少なくとも何れか一つに、一つ以上の前記耐衝撃素材が備えられてなる、電池パック。 - 前記電池モジュールが、一つ以上の前記耐衝撃素材を備えた電池モジュールであることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックが、パワーツール;電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車及びプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車からなる群から選択されてなる電気車;E−バイク;E−スクーター;電気ゴルフカート;電気トラック;及び電気商用車からなる群から選択される一種以上のものの電源として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項10又は11に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックが、冷媒が流れるダクトと隣接して配置されており、
前記電池パックまたは前記ダクトに前記耐衝撃素材が備えられてなることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池パック。 - 前記電池パックが、
前記電池パックと前記ダクトとの間に前記耐衝撃素材を備えた構造を備えてなり、又は、
前記電池パックと前記耐衝撃素材との間に前記ダクトを備えた構造を備えてなることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池パック。
