Description
本出願は、参照により本明細書に援用される2010年9月24日付けの米国仮特許出願第61/386,149号からの優先権を主張するものである。
・ TOTALTM150S.N.(天然溶剤):Total Corporationから入手でき、40℃で毎秒30平方ミリメートル(mm2/秒)の典型的な動粘性率を有する、グループIのパラフィン系溶剤中性基油。
・ SYNALOXTM100−30B:Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能で、40℃で46mm2/秒の典型的動粘性率を有するブタノール開始型プロポキシレート。
・ NYNASTMT22:40℃での22mm2/秒の典型的動粘性率および15℃で1ミリメートルあたり0.90グラム(g/mL)の密度を有する、Nynas Corporation製のナフテン基油。これは、42wt%のナフテン含有量;11wt%の芳香族含有量:および47wt%のパラフィン含有量を有する。
・ NEXBASETM2004:100℃で4mm2/秒の典型的動粘性率を有するNeste製のポリアルファオレフィン基油。

調合物の調製
[1] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと、(a)ポリアルキレングリコール;(b)ポリアルファオレフィン;(c)ナフテン系化合物;および(d)それらの組合せから選択される基油とを含む潤滑剤組成物において、脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと基油が混和性であることを条件とする、潤滑剤組成物。
[2] 潤滑剤組成物が、ASTM D7042に基づいて40℃で実施した粘度試験にしたがって、乾燥空気中120℃で13日間の後5パーセント(%)未満の粘度変化を示す、上記[1]に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
[3] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートが、1,2−シクロヘキサンジアミン1モルあたり5〜10モルのプロピレンオキシド含有量を有する1,2−シクロヘキサンジアミンプロポキシレート;1,2−シクロヘキサンジアミン1モルあたり5〜10モルのブチレンオキシド含有量を有する1,2−シクロヘキサンジアミンブトキシレート;およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、上記[1]〜[2]のいずれかに記載の潤滑剤組成物。
[4] 基油が、米国石油協会にしたがって分類された場合に、グループIIまたはIIIの基油である、上記[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載の潤滑剤組成物。
[5] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートが、100PPMから5重量パーセントまでの範囲内の量で存在する、上記[1]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の潤滑剤組成物。
[6] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと基油が混和性となるような条件下で、少なくとも、脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと(a)ポリアルキレングリコール;(b)ポリアルファオレフィン;(c)ナフテン系化合物;および(d)それらの組合せから選択される基油とを組合わせて潤滑剤組成物を形成するステップを含む、潤滑剤組成物の製造方法。
[7] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートが、式IまたはIIに対応するアミノシクロヘキサンアルキルアミン;式IIIに対応するシクロヘキサンジアミンまたはそのジアステレオマー形態;式IVに対応するメチレンビス(シクロヘキシルアミン);式VまたはVIに対応する1,3−または1,4−ビス(アミノ−メチル)シクロヘキサン;またはそれらの組合せから選択される開始剤と、プロピレンオキシド、ブチレンオキシドおよびそれらの組合せから選択されるアルコキシドとを、脂環式アミンアルコキシレートを形成するのに好適な条件下で反応させることによって調製される、上記[6]に記載の方法。
[8] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートが、100PPMから5重量パーセントの範囲内の量で潤滑剤組成物中に存在する、上記[6]〜[7]のいずれかに記載の方法。
[9] 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートが1重量パーセント〜5重量パーセントの範囲内の量で潤滑剤組成物内に存在する、上記[6]〜[8]のいずれかに記載の方法。
Claims (9)
- 脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと、(a)ポリアルキレングリコール;(b)ポリアルファオレフィン;(c)ナフテン系化合物;および(d)それらの組合せから選択される基油とを含む潤滑剤組成物において、脂環式アミンアルコキシレートと基油が混和性であることを条件とする、潤滑剤組成物。
- 潤滑剤組成物が、ASTM D7042に基づいて40℃で実施した粘度試験にしたがって、乾燥空気中120℃で13日間の後5パーセント(%)未満の粘度変化を示す、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
