酸化マグネシウムを、本発明に係る反応における使用前に、125℃にて真空下で、例えば20時間乾燥する。
まず、1.05g(18.7mmol)の細かく粉砕した酸化カルシウム粉末(CaO)をガラス器具中に導入し、そして1.96g(4.6mmol)のトリス(ペンタフルオロエチル)ジフルオロホスホラン、(C2F5)3PF2を室温で、マグネティックスターラー用いて撹拌しながら添加する。反応混合物を、室温で2日間撹拌する。生成物、(C2F5)3P=Oを次いで冷却トラップ中に真空下で濃縮し、1.48gの無色液体を得る。トリス(ペンタフルオロエチル)ホスフィンオキシドの収率は、トリス(ペンタフルオロエチル)ジフルオロホスホランの量から算出される80%に対応する。
NMRスペクトルは、例1Aからの生成物のものと同一である。

- 式(I)
(CxF2x+1)3P(O) (I)
式中、xは、1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、9、10、11または12である、
で表される化合物の製造方法であって、
式(II)
(CxF2x‐1)3PF2 (II)
式中、xは、上に示した意味のひとつを有する、
で表される化合物の、アルカリ土類金属酸化物、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩、酸化亜鉛、酸化銅(I)、酸化銅(II)、酸化銀、酸化水銀(II)、酸化カドミウムまたは炭酸カドミウムとの反応による、前記方法。 - 式中、xが2、3、4、5または6を示す式(II)で表される化合物が用いられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属酸化物またはアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩が選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- CaO、CaCO3、MgOまたはBaCO3が使用されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 15℃〜200℃の温度で反応が起こることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
