Abstract
Description
約5μmの粒径を有する活性炭を85質量%、17μmの平均粒径を有するカーボンブラックを5質量%、5×106g/モルの分子量を有するPTFEを8質量%、水性分散体中のスチレン−ブチジエンゴムを1.5質量%、およびカルボキシルメチルセルロースを0.5質量%、手作業で混合することによって、100gのバッチ材料を得た。160質量%の脱イオン水を加え、バッチ材料を手作業で混合した。

Claims (5)
- 少なくとも1種類の活性炭、少なくとも1種類の結合剤、および水を実質的に含む媒体を含む炭素電極バッチ材料であって、
前記少なくとも1種類の結合剤が実質的に繊維化されていないポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含むことを特徴とする炭素電極バッチ材料。 - 前記少なくとも1種類の活性炭が、1マイクロメートルから10マイクロメートルに及ぶ平均粒径を有する粉末であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の炭素電極バッチ材料。
- 前記少なくとも1種類の活性炭が前記バッチ材料の少なくとも80質量%を構成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の炭素電極バッチ材料。
- スチレン−ブチジエンゴムコポリマーから選択される少なくとも1種類の第2の結合剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の炭素電極バッチ材料。
- 炭素電極材料を製造する方法であって、
少なくとも1種類の活性炭、少なくとも1種類の結合剤、および水を実質的に含む媒体を含む炭素電極バッチ材料を混合し、
前記バッチ材料を二軸スクリュー押出機に通して、押出材料を製造し、
前記押出材料をカレンダ加工して、カレンダ加工済み材料を製造する、
各工程を有してなり、
前記少なくとも1種類の結合剤が実質的に繊維化されていないポリテトラフルオロエチレンであることを特徴とする方法。
