Description
ラプラースの法則:フープ応力=圧力*血管半径/壁厚
を用い、平均血圧=100mmHg(健常80/120mmHg)、半径R=7mm(26mmの大動脈を治療する2〜14mmラウンド)の標準値を用い、かつ150ミクロンの壁厚を仮定すると、標準応力は約600MPaである。最大応力は約1100MPaであり、最小フープ応力は約300MPaと推定される。

- 動脈瘤を治療するためのシステムであって、前記システムは、
外壁と内壁とを有する第1の二重壁充填構造
を含み、ここで、前記充填構造は、前記外壁が前記動脈瘤の内側表面に適合し、前記内壁が全体的に管状の内腔を形成して、そこを通る血流を可能にするよう、硬化性流体充填媒体が充填されるように構成されており、かつ
ここで、前記内壁は、血液接触層と補強層とを含み、前記補強層は、前記内腔の円周方向クリープまたは弾性拡張を防ぐように構成されている、システム。 - 前記補強層は、金属、布地、膜、またはポリマーメッシュである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記補強層は、前記内腔の周囲に円周方向に配置された繊維または繊維状物である、請求項1に記載のシステム。

前記内腔を通る前記血流による前記内腔のクリープまたは弾性拡張を抑制することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記抑制する工程は、前記管状の内腔の周囲に少なくとも部分的に配置された補強層を提供することを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記抑制する工程は、前記管状の内腔の周囲に少なくとも部分的に配置された区画に前記硬化性流体充填媒体を充填することを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
