Claims (10)
- エンジン(10)と、
燃料システム(20)と、
エンジン(10)から出るNOをNO2に変換するよう構成された酸化触媒(53)、エンジン(10)から出る煤をトラップするよう構成された粒子フィルタ(54)、および前記粒子フィルタ(54)内の煤の量の指示値を提供するよう構成されたセンサ(73)を含む後処理システム(50)と、
粒子フィルタ(54)内の煤の量がスレッショルド(106)を超えたときに、前記エンジン(10)の燃料(21)の噴射圧力を増大させるよう構成されたコントローラ(71)と、
を備えたことを特徴とする動力システム(1)。 - 前記コントローラ(71)がさらに、動力システム(1)の付加的な動作パラメータを変更することで200℃超の後処理温度を実現するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の動力システム(1)。
- 前記エンジン(10)からの排出ガスを前記後処理システム(50)に向けるように構成された排気システム(40)と、前記排気システム(50)に配された背圧弁(44)と、をさらに含み、前記背圧弁(44)は、前記粒子フィルタ(54)内の煤の量がスレッショルド(106)を超えたときに、少なくとも部分的に閉鎖されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の動力システム(1)。
- 排出ガス再循環システム(60)をさらに含み、前記排出ガス再循環システム(60)は、前記エンジン(10)の吸気口(10)と前記排出ガス再循環システム(60)に配された排出ガス再循環弁(65)とに戻るよう前記エンジン(10)の前記排出ガス(41)を再循環させるべく構成され、前記排出ガス再循環弁(65)は、前記背圧弁(44)が少なくとも部分的に閉じたときに、閉じられるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の動力システム(1)。
- 前記燃料システム(20)は燃料(21)のメインショットの噴射を行うよう構成され、前記コントローラ(71)は、前記粒子フィルタ(54)の煤の量がスレッショルド(106)を超えたときに、前記燃料(21)の前記メインショットの前または後に、燃料の付加的なショットを追加するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の動力システム(1)。
- 前記コントローラ(71)はさらに、前記エンジン(10)のそう度およびトルクがスレッショルドの速度およびトルク曲線(105)より低くなったときに前記エンジン(10)の燃料(21)の噴射圧力を増大させるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の動力システム(1)。
- エンジン(10)の燃料(21)の噴射圧力を少なくとも部分的に増大させることによって、前記エンジン(10)が生成する排出ガス(41)のNOx/煤比を一時的に増大させ、35/1より高くすることを特徴とする方法。
- さらに、
排出導管(52)に配される背圧弁(44)を閉鎖すること、
前記エンジン(10)の吸気口(38)に戻るように前記エンジン(10)の排出ガスを再循環させる排出ガス再循環システム(60)に配された排出ガス再循環弁(65)を閉じること、
前記エンジン(10)内のピストン(13)の位置に関連して前記エンジン(10)に前記燃料(21)の主噴射が行われる燃料噴射タイミングを変更すること、および、
前記主噴射よりも少ない燃料(21)のショットを主噴射の前または後のいずれか一方で噴射すること、
の1以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。 - エンジン(10)の速度およびトルクがスレッショルドの速度およびトルク曲線(105)を下回り、前記排出ガスを受け取る粒子フィルタ(54)内の煤の量がスレッショルドを超えたときに、前記排出ガス中のNOx/煤比を上昇させることを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- 前記排出ガス中のNOx/煤比が上昇すると前記排出ガスの温度が上昇することで、200度超の後処理温度が得られるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項7ないし9のいずれかに記載の方法。
