Abstract
Description
本発明は、2つのカバー層及び石膏コアを含み、その際、石膏コアがマイクロカプセルを含有し、そのカプセルコアが親油性物質であり、且つそのカプセル壁がアクリル酸及び/又はメタクリル酸若しくはそれらのエステルを基礎とするポリマーである石膏ボード、並びにその製造法に関する。
モノマーの全質量を基準として30〜100質量%の、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸のC1〜C24−アルキルエステル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸及びマレイン酸の中から選択された1種以上のモノマー(モノマーI)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜70質量%の、少なくとも2つの非共役エチレン性二重結合を有し、水に溶けないか又は溶け難い1種以上のモノマー(モノマーII)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜40質量%の、1種以上の他のモノマー(モノマーIII)
の重合によって形成されたカプセル壁とを有するマイクロカプセル、
並びに−60〜160℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度Tg、有利には−60〜100℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度Tgを有する少なくとも1種のポリマーPを含有する石膏ボードが見出された。さらに、本出願は該石膏ボードの製造法に関する。
モノマーの全質量を基準として50〜90質量%の、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸のC1〜C24−アルキルエステル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸及びマレイン酸の中から選択された1種以上のモノマー(モノマーI)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として10〜50質量%の、2つより多い非共役エチレン性二重結合を有する1種以上のモノマー(モノマーII)、並びに
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜30質量%の、1種以上の他のモノマー(モノマーIII)
から形成されているマイクロカプセルが使用される。
− 脂肪族炭化水素化合物、例えば飽和又は不飽和のC10〜C40−炭化水素、該炭化水素は、分枝鎖状又は有利には線状であり、例えばn−テトラデカン、n−ペンタデカン、n−ヘキサデカン、n−ヘプタデカン、n−オクタデカン、n−ノナデカン、n−エイコサン、n−ヘンエイコサン、n−ドコサン、n−トリコサン、n−テトラコサン、n−ペンタコサン、n−ヘキサコサン、n−ヘプタコサン、n−オクタコサン並びに環式炭化水素、例えばシクロヘキサン、シクロオクタン、シクロデカン;
− 芳香族炭化水素化合物、例えばベンゼン、ナフタレン、ビフェニル、o−又はn−テルフェニル、C1〜C40−アルキル置換された芳香族炭化水素、例えばドデシルベンゼン、テトラデシルベンゼン、ヘキサデシルベンゼン、ヘキシルナフタレン又はデシルナフタレン;
− 飽和又は不飽和のC6〜C30−脂肪酸、例えばラウリン酸、ステアリン酸、オレイン酸又はベヘン酸、有利には、デカン酸と、例えばミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸又はラウリン酸より成る共融混合物;
− 脂肪アルコール、例えばラウリルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、オレイルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、セチルアルコール、ヤシ脂肪アルコールのような混合物並びにα−オレフィンのヒドロホルミル化及び更なる反応によって得られる所謂オキソアルコール;
− C6〜C30−脂肪アミン、例えばデシルアミン、ドデシルアミン、テトラデシルアミン又はヘキサデシルアミン;
− 脂肪酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステルのようなエステル、例えばプロピルパルミテート、メチルステアレート又はメチルパルミテート並びに有利にはそれらの共融混合物又はメチルシンナメート;
− 天然及び合成のワックス、例えばモンタン酸ワックス、モンタンエステルワックス、カルナウバワックス、ポリエチレンワックス、酸化ワックス、ポリビニルエーテルワックス、エチレンビニルアセテートワックス又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ法に従った硬質ワックス;
− ハロゲン化炭化水素、例えばクロロパラフィン、ブロモオクタデカン、ブロモペンタデカン、ブロモノナデカン、ブロモエイコサン、ブロモドコサン。
[式中、X1,X2,・・・,Xnは、質量分率1,2,・・・,nであり、且つTg 1,Tg 2,・・・,Tg nは、そのつどモノマー1,2,・・・,nの1つだけから構成されたポリマーのケルビン単位におけるガラス転移温度を意味する]。このガラス転移温度は、例えばUllmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry,VCH,5thed,Weinheim,Vol.A21(1992),p.169又はJ.Brandrup,E.H.Immergut,Polymer Handbook 3rd ed,J.Wiley,New York 1989から公知である。
− α,β−エチレン性不飽和C3〜C6−モノカルボン酸又はC4〜C8−ジカルボン酸とC1〜C10−アルコールとのエステルである。好ましくは、これらは、アクリル酸又はメタクリル酸のエステル、例えばメチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、t−ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2−エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート等;
− ビニル芳香族化合物、例えばスチレン、4−クロロスチレン、2−メチルスチレン等;
− 好ましくは炭素原子1〜10個を有する脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステル、ビニルアセテート、ビニルプロピオネート、ビニルラウレート、ビニルステアレート、バーサチック酸ビニルエステル等;
− オレフィン、例えばエチレン又はプロピレン;
− 共役ジオレフィン、例えばブタジエン又はイソプレン;
− 塩化ビニル又は塩化ビニリデン;
− 無水マレイン酸
である。
I)スチレンとアルキル(アクリレート)とのコポリマー、すなわち、モノマーAとしてスチレン及び少なくとも1種のアクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステル及び場合により1種以上のメタクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステルを重合により導入して含有するコポリマー;
II)スチレンとブタジエンとのコポリマー、すなわち、モノマーAとしてスチレン及びブタジエン並びに場合によりC1〜C8−アルカノールの(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、アクリロニトリル及び/又はメタクリロニトリルを重合により導入して含有するコポリマー;
III)アルキル(メタ)アクリレート(純粋なアクリレート)のホモポリマー及びコポリマー、すなわち、モノマーAとして少なくとも1種のアクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステル及び/又はメタクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステルを重合により導入して含有するホモポリマー及びコポリマー、殊にモノマーAとしてメチルメタクリレート、少なくとも1種のアクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステル及び場合によりメタクリル酸のC2〜C10−アルキルエステルを重合により導入して含有するコポリマー;
IV)脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステルのホモポリマー及び脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステルとオレフィン及び/又はアルキル(メタ)アクリレートとのコポリマー、すなわち、モノマーAとして炭素原子2〜10個を有する脂肪族カルボン酸の少なくとも1種のビニルエステル及び場合により1種以上のC2〜C6−オレフィン及び/又は場合により1種以上のアクリル酸及び/又はメタクリル酸のC1〜C10−アルキルエステルを重合により導入して含有するホモポリマー及びコポリマー;
V)スチレンとアクリロニトリルとのコポリマー
VI)オレフィンと無水マレイン酸とのコポリマー。
モノマーの全質量を基準として30〜100質量%の、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸のC1〜C24−アルキルエステル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸及びマレイン酸の中から選択された1種以上のモノマー(モノマーI)、

5質量%のペルオキソ二硫酸ナトリウムの水溶液22.0g
水30.0g
水相を40℃で装入し、該水相に、溶融され且つ均質に混合された油相を加え、そして40分間、高速溶解攪拌機(ディスク直径5cm)により3500rpmで分散した。添加物1を加えた。エマルションを馬蹄形撹拌機により60分攪拌しながら70℃に加熱し、さらに60分間にわたり90℃に加熱し、且つ90℃で60分間維持した。生じたマイクロカプセル分散液に、攪拌しながら供給材料1を90分かけて90℃で計量供給し、且つ引き続き2時間、この温度で攪拌した。次いで室温に冷却し、且つ水酸化ナトリウム水溶液で中和した。
実施例1から得られたマイクロカプセル分散液そのつど100gを、以下の実施例A〜Fに挙げたポリマー溶液又はポリマー分散液と混ぜた。得られたマイクロカプセルポリマー混合物の密度を調べるために、得られた混合物のそのつど約2gを2時間のあいだ105℃で乾燥して、場合により存在する残留水を除去した。次いで質量(mo)を算出した。180℃に1時間加熱した後、冷却後に質量(m1)を算出した。m0を基準とし且つ100を掛けた質量差分(m0-m1)は蒸発率(%)を示す。値が小さければ小さいほど、マイクロカプセルはより密度が高い。
実施例1より得られたマイクロカプセル分散液の蒸発率は67.3%である。
Mowiol(R)−18−88溶液(水中で10質量%)16.8gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
デンプン溶液(水中で50質量%)3.4gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
オレフィン/無水マレイン酸コポリマーの26質量%の水性分散液6.5gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
デンプン溶液(50質量%)2.55g及びオレフィン/無水マレイン酸コポリマーの水性分散液(水中で26質量%)1.6gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
Mowiol−40−88溶液(水中で10質量%)16.8gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
前処理のために、砂/マイクロカプセル/ポリマーサンプル2gを金属皿中で2時間のあいだ105℃で乾燥し、場合により存在する残留水を除去した。次いで質量(mo)を算出した。180℃に1時間加熱した後、冷却後に質量(m1)を算出した。m0を基準とし且つ100を掛けた質量差分(m0-m1)は蒸発率(%)を示す。値が小さければ小さいほど、マイクロカプセルはより密度が高い。
実施例1に従って製造したマイクロカプセル分散液100gを、一般規定に従って、ポリマーを添加せずに処理した。
Luviskol(R)K90溶液(ポリビニルピロリドン、K値90、水中で10質量%のポリマー溶液、製造元BASF SE)17.4gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
Acronal(R)290D分散液(固体50質量%、製造元BASF SE)5gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
Luviskol VA64溶液(水中で50質量%のポリマー溶液)4gを、一般規定に従って、実施例1のマイクロカプセル分散液100gと混ぜた。
実施例1に記載されるマイクロカプセル分散液1000gに、Mowiol(R)−18−88溶液(水中で10質量%)168gを混ぜ、且つ平均粒径が50〜250μmの粉末へと噴霧乾燥した。得られた粉末を石膏スラリーに、カプセル粉末対石膏半水和物の30:70の比で攪拌導入した。この石膏混合物から、加熱炉中での乾燥によって石膏ボードを製造した。

- 2つのカバー層及び石膏コアを含む石膏ボードにおいて、該石膏コアが、親油性カプセルコアと、

モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜70質量%の、少なくとも2つの非共役エチレン性二重結合を有し、水に溶けないか又は溶け難い1種以上のモノマー(モノマーII)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜40質量%の、1種以上の他のモノマー(モノマーIII)
から形成されたカプセル壁とを有するマイクロカプセル、
並びに−60〜160℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度Tgを有する少なくとも1種のポリマーPを含有することを特徴とする石膏ボード。 - 前記マイクロカプセルのカプセル壁が、
モノマーの全質量を基準として50〜90質量%の、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸のC1〜C24−アルキルエステル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸及びマレイン酸の中から選択された1種以上のモノマー(モノマーI)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として10〜50質量%の、2つより多い非共役エチレン性二重結合を有し、水に溶けないか又は溶け難い1種以上のモノマー(モノマーII)並びに
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜30質量%の、1種以上の他のモノマー(モノマーIII)
から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の石膏ボード。 - 前記ポリマーPが、−60℃〜100℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度を有し、且つ1種以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマーMから乳化重合によって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記ポリマーPが、脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステルのホモポリマー又は脂肪族カルボン酸のビニルエステルとオレフィン及び/又はアルキル(メタ)アクリレートとのコポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記結合剤ポリマーが、スチレンとアクリロニトリルとのコポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記ポリマーPが、水溶性であるか又は部分的に水溶性であり、且つ0℃〜160℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記石膏ボードを製造するために、マイクロカプセルと前記ポリマーPより成る水性混合物を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記石膏ボードを製造するために、マイクロカプセルと前記ポリマーPより成る水性混合物の噴霧乾燥によって得られるマイクロカプセル粉末を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記カバー層が、セルロースを基礎とする厚紙シート、織布又はフリースの中から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 100質量部を基準として1〜30質量部のポリマーP(固体)を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボード。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項記載の石膏ボードの製造法において、マイクロカプセル及びポリマーPを含有する石膏スラリーをカバー層に施与し、第2のカバー層で覆い、且つ硬化後に切断し、且つ乾燥させ、好ましくは50℃〜250℃の範囲内の温度で、殊に50℃〜150℃の範囲内の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする方法。
- 親油性カプセルコアと、
モノマーの全質量を基準として30〜100質量%の、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸のC1〜C24−アルキルエステル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸及びマレイン酸の中から選択された1種以上のモノマー(モノマーI)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜70質量%の、少なくとも2つの非共役エチレン性二重結合を有し、水に溶けないか又は溶け難い1種以上のモノマー(モノマーII)、
モノマーの全質量を基準として0〜40質量%の、1種以上の他のモノマー(モノマーIII)
から形成されたカプセル壁とを有するマイクロカプセル、
及び−60〜100℃の範囲内のガラス転移温度Tgを有するポリマーPを含有する水性混合物の噴霧乾燥によって得られるマイクロカプセル粉末。 - マイクロカプセル及びポリマーPを含有する水性混合物を噴霧乾燥することを特徴とする、請求項12記載のマイクロカプセルの製造法。
