Claims (13)
- 第一のバッテリセルと、
前記第一のバッテリセルに隣接して配置された冷却フィンであって、前記冷却フィンは、第一のヘッダ及び第二のヘッダと、押出ハウジングと、流れダイバータとを有し、前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダは、前記押出ハウジングの第一の端部及び第二の端部にそれぞれ連結され、前記押出ハウジングは、前記押出ハウジングを通じて延在している複数の第一の流れ通路と複数の第二の流れ通路とを有し、前記複数の第一の流れ通路及び前記複数の第二の流れ通路は、前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダに流体連通し、前記流れダイバータは、前記第一のヘッダ内に配置され、流体を前記第一のヘッダから、前記押出ハウジング内の前記複数の第一の流れ通路を通じて、前記第二のヘッダへ流し、これにより前記第一のバッテリセルから熱エネルギーを取りだし、次いで前記流体を前記第二のヘッダから、前記押出ハウジング内の前記複数の第二の流れ通路を通じて、前記第一のヘッダへ戻すように流し、これにより前記第一のバッテリセルから熱エネルギーをさらに取り出す冷却フィンと、
を備えるバッテリモジュール。 - 前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダは、略チューブ状形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダは、銅及びアルミニウムのうちの少なくとも1つから構築されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記押出ハウジングは、銅及びアルミニウムのうちの少なくとも1つから構築されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記複数の第一の流れ通路の中の流れ通路の数が、前記複数の第二の流れ通路の中の流れ通路の数を上回っていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記流体は、冷却剤であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記冷却剤は、エチレングリコール及びプロピレングリコールのうちの少なくとも1つを備えていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記流体は、冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記冷却フィンに隣接して配置された第二のバッテリセルをさらに備え、これにより前記冷却フィンは前記第一のバッテリセルと前記第二のバッテリセルとの間に配置されている請求項1に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- バッテリモジュールの冷却方法であって、前記バッテリモジュールは、第一のバッテリセルと、前記第一のバッテリセルに隣接して配置され、第一のヘッダ及び第二のヘッダを有している冷却フィンと、押出ハウジングと、流れダイバータと、を有しており、前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダは、前記押出ハウジングの第一の端部及び第二の端部にそれぞれ連結され、前記押出ハウジングは、前記押出ハウジングを通じて延在している複数の第一の流れ通路と複数の第二の流れ通路とを有し、前記複数の第一の流れ通路及び前記複数の第二の流れ通路は、前記第一のヘッダ及び前記第二のヘッダと流体連通し、前記流れダイバータは、前記第一のヘッダ内に配置され、前記方法は、
前記第一のバッテリセルから前記冷却フィン内に熱エネルギーを伝えるステップと、
流体を前記第一のヘッダ内に収容するステップであって、前記流体は前記第一のヘッダ内の流れダイバータによって、前記押出ハウジング内の前記複数の第一の流れ通路を通じて、前記第二のヘッダへ方向転換され、これにより前記冷却フィンから熱エネルギーを取り出すステップと、
前記流体を、前記第二のヘッダから、前記押出ハウジング内の前記複数の第二の流れ通路を通じて、前記第一のヘッダに戻すように送るステップであって、このことが前記冷却フィンから熱エネルギーをさらに取り出すステップと、
を備える方法。 - 前記流体は、冷却剤であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記冷却剤は、エチレングリコール及びプロピレングリコールのうちの少なくとも1つを備えていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記流体は、冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
