Claims (15)

  1. 組織の穴を気化させるための装置であって、
    気化要素と、
    気化要素を200℃から600℃までの範囲の温度に加熱するように構成された加熱要素と、
    穴からの予め定められた付帯的損傷距離を越える距離で組織の熱緩和時間未満の短い時間内に、気化要素を組織の特定の深さまで前進させかつ気化要素を組織から後退させるように構成された機構と
    を含む装置。
  2. 気化要素の移動中に、気化要素は加熱要素と接触しない、請求項1に記載の装置。
  3. 気化要素は80ワット/K/メートルより大きい熱伝導係数を有する材料を含む、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
  4. 気化要素は0.3キロジュール/kg/Kより大きい比熱容量を有する材料を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の装置。
  5. 組織にHの深さを有する穴を生成し、熱拡散係数Bおよび単位体積当たりの気化エネルギーHνを有する組織で、付帯的損傷が穴からZ以内の距離に延びるようにするために、気化要素と組織との間の℃単位の温度差Tを使用し、KCρ>(HνHB)/(TZ)となるような材料を含むように気化要素を選択し、ここでKは気化要素の熱伝導係数、Cは気化要素の熱容量、ρは気化要素の密度である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の装置。
  6. 組織と接触して配置されるように構成された保護板をさらに含み、気化要素は特定の深さを、保護板を越えて組織内に延長するように構成される、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の装置。
  7. 調和振動子をさらに含み、調和振動子は気化要素を含み、かつ調和振動子は10ミリ秒から100ミリ秒の範囲の振動周期を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の装置。
  8. 気化要素の前進行程を制限するように構成されたスペーサと、機構が複数の気化要素を短時間内に前進および後退させるように構成され、かつスペーサが複数の穴を含み、そこを介して複数の気化要素を組織内に送り込むことができるようにした、複数の気化要素とをさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の装置。
  9. 実質的に表皮だけを気化するために、特定の深さは40ミクロン以下の範囲である、請求項8に記載の装置。
  10. 組織と接触して配置されるように構成された保護板は、断熱材を含む、請求項6〜9のいずれかに記載の装置。
  11. 加熱要素は光学的熱源を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の装置。
  12. 加熱、前進、および後退の速度は、1〜100パルス/秒の繰返し率の気化の繰返しパルスを支持する、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の装置。
  13. 気化要素が加熱される温度および短い持続時間の組合せは、組織の付帯的損傷を150ミクロン未満の距離に制限するように選択される、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の装置。
  14. 保護板を冷却するための冷却手段をさらに含む、請求項6〜13のいずれかに記載の装置。
  15. 気化要素の先端は気化要素の本体より細い、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の装置。
