Abstract
【解決手段】 無線通信システム(50)において、パケットデータおよび低遅延データの伝送を組み合わせるための方法。一実施例では、並列シグナリングチャネルがパケットデータの目標受信者を示してメッセージを受信機(56、58、60)に与える。このメッセージはまた、パケットデータ伝送のために使用される伝送チャネルを識別する。それぞれの受信機はそこで、メッセージが受信機を目標受信者として識別する場合のみパケットを選択的に復号する。バッファに保存されたデータパケットは、もしも目標受信者が他の移動ユニットであれば無視される。一実施例では、メッセージは並列チャネル上に、データパケットと同時に送出される。一実施例では、メッセージは高レートパケットデータ伝送の中にパンクチャされる。

Description
本発明は、無線データ通信に関する。とくに本発明は、無線通信システムにおける、高速パケットデータおよび低遅延データ伝送のための、新規なそして改善された方法および装置に関する。
無線データ伝送に対する要求の増加、および無線通信技術を通して利用可能なサービスの拡大は、特有のデータサービスの開発に至ってきている。このようなサービスの一つは、高データレート(HDR:High Data Rate)として参照される。典型的なHDR形システムは、“HAI標準”として参照される“TL80-54421-1 HDRエアインタフェース標準”の中に提案されている。一般にHDRは、無線通信システムにおいてデータのパケットを送信する効率的な方法を与える。困難性は、音声およびパケットデータサービスの両者を必要とする応用において生じる。音声システムは、音声通信が相互的でありそしてその結果リアルタイムに処理されることから、低遅延データシステムと見なされる。他の低遅延データシステムは、ビデオ、マルチメディア、およびその他のリアルタイムデータシステムを含む。HDRシステムは音声通信用として設計されていないが、HDRシステムにおける基地局は、一時にただ一つの移動ユーザにデータを送出しながら種々の移動ユーザを巡回するために、むしろデータ伝送を最適化するように設計されている。巡回は伝送プロセスに遅延を招来する。このような遅延は、情報がリアルタイムで使用されないことからデータ伝送にとっては許容可能である。対照的に、巡回遅延は音声通信にとっては容認できない。
以下に本件出願当初の特許請求の範囲を付記する。

複数の伝送チャネル上へのパケットデータおよび低遅延データの伝送のために動作する無線通信システムであって、システムは、
複数の伝送チャネル内のチャネルの第1のセットと、なおこのチャネルの第1のセットは、パケットデータ伝送に割り当てられており、そしてパケットデータはフレーム内に送信され、
複数の伝送チャネル内のチャネルの第2のセットと、なおこのチャネルの第2のセットは、低遅延データ伝送に割り当てられ、そして、
複数の伝送チャネル内のシグナリングチャネルとを含み、なおこのシグナリングチャネルは、メッセージ伝送に割り当てられ、ここでそれぞれのメッセージはパケットデータの目標受信者を識別するシステム。

第1のメッセージは、組み合わせられた第1のパケットデータフレームと同時にシグナリングチャネル上に送信され、そして第1のメッセージは、第1のパケットデータフレームと組み合わせられた第1のパケットデータ目標受信者を識別する[C1]の無線通信システム。

バッファと結合された処理装置と、なお処理装置は受信されたメッセージから目標受信者を決定するために動作し、そして
処理装置と結合された復号器とを含む、なお復号器は無線装置が目標受信者である場合には受信されたデータパケットを復号し、そして無線装置が目標受信者でない場合にはデータパケットを無視するために動作する[C1]のシステム内で動作する無線装置。

目標受信者情報は複数の受信者を識別することが可能な[C5]の無線装置。

さらに、処理装置と結合したメモリ保存デバイスを含む、なおメモリ保存デバイスは復号器を制御するために動作する計算機により読出し可能な命令を保存する[C6]の無線装置。

無線通信システムにおいて、なおシステムは複数の伝送チャネル上へのパケットデータ伝送および低遅延データ伝送をサポートし、
一組のパケットデータチャネルを経由してパケットデータを送信し、そして
シグナリングチャネルを経由してパケットデータと組み合わせられた制御情報を送信することを含む、なおここでシグナリングチャネルはパケットデータチャネルの組み合わせと分離しており、そしてここで制御情報は組み合わせられたパケットデータの目標受信者を識別する方法。

制御情報はさらにパケットデータのための符号化体系を識別する[C8]の方法。

さらに、複数の移動ユニットからデータ要求を受信し、そして

目標受信者情報および符号化情報に従ってデータレートを計算するために動作するデータレート決定ユニットとを含む装置。

装置は、高レートパケットデータ伝送および低遅延データ伝送をサポートする無線通信シス手無内で動作する[C13]の装置。

さらに、処理装置と結合したバッファと、なおバッファは第1のチャネル組み合わせの少なくとも一つを経由して受信されたパケットデータを保存するために動作し、
処理装置と結合した復号器とを含む、なお復号器は無線装置が目標受信者である場合には受信されたデータパケットを復号し、受信装置が目標受信者でない場合にはデータパケットを無視するよう動作する[C13]の装置。

目標受信者情報は複数の目標受信者を識別する[C13]の装置。

符号化情報は送信機によってあらかじめ設定され、そしてパケットデータを符号化するのに使用され、
装置はさらに処理装置と結合した復号器を含む、なお復号器は受信されたパケットデータを復号するために符号化情報に応答可能である[C13]の装置。
Claims (17)
- 複数の伝送チャネル上へのパケットデータおよび低遅延データの伝送のために動作する無線通信システムであって、システムは、
複数の伝送チャネル内のチャネルの第1のセットと、なおこのチャネルの第1のセットは、パケットデータ伝送に割り当てられており、そしてパケットデータはフレーム内に送信され、
複数の伝送チャネル内のチャネルの第2のセットと、なおこのチャネルの第2のセットは、低遅延データ伝送に割り当てられ、そして、
複数の伝送チャネル内のシグナリングチャネルとを含み、なおこのシグナリングチャネルは、メッセージ伝送に割り当てられ、ここでそれぞれのメッセージはパケットデータの目標受信者を識別するシステム。 - 第1のメッセージは、組み合わせられた第1のパケットデータフレームと同時にシグナリングチャネル上に送信され、そして第1のメッセージは、第1のパケットデータフレームと組み合わせられた第1のパケットデータ目標受信者を識別する請求項1の無線通信システム。
- 第1のメッセージは、第1のパケットデータの伝送に割り当てられたチャネルの第1のセットのサブセットを識別する請求項1の無線通信システム。

- さらに、処理装置と結合したメモリ保存デバイスを含む、なおメモリ保存デバイスは復号器を制御するために動作する計算機により読出し可能な命令を保存する請求項6の無線装置。
- 無線通信システムにおいて、なおシステムは複数の伝送チャネル上へのパケットデータ伝送および低遅延データ伝送をサポートし、
一組のパケットデータチャネルを経由してパケットデータを送信し、そして
シグナリングチャネルを経由してパケットデータと組み合わせられた制御情報を送信することを含む、なおここでシグナリングチャネルはパケットデータチャネルの組み合わせと分離しており、そしてここで制御情報は組み合わせられたパケットデータの目標受信者を識別する方法。 - 制御情報はさらにパケットデータのための符号化体系を識別する請求項8の方法。
- さらに、複数の移動ユニットからデータ要求を受信し、そして

処理装置と結合した復号器とを含む、なお復号器は無線装置が目標受信者である場合には受信されたデータパケットを復号し、受信装置が目標受信者でない場合にはデータパケットを無視するよう動作する請求項13の装置。 - 目標受信者情報は複数の目標受信者を識別する請求項13の装置。
