Abstract
【解決手段】本発明び係る表示装置は、表示パネル、表示パネル上に位置し、液晶層、上部線状電極、下部線状電極、第1偏光板、および第2偏光板を含み、タッチ感知モードまたは立体映像表示モードで動作するタッチバリアパネル、およびタッチバリアパネル制御部を含み、上部線状電極と下部線状電極とは、液晶層を間において互いに交差する方向に延長している。タッチ感知機能および立体映像表示機能を有する1つのタッチバリアパネルを表示パネル上部に位置させ、製作費用を抑え、その厚さが相対的に増加しないようにする。また、ネガティブ液晶を使用して垂直電界によって影響を受けないようにし、モード変化速度および応答速度を向上させる。

Claims (10)
- 表示パネル、
前記表示パネル上に位置し、液晶層、上部線状電極、下部線状電極、第1偏光板、および第2偏光板を含み、タッチ感知モードまたは立体映像表示モードで動作するタッチバリアパネル、および
タッチバリアパネル制御部を含み、
前記上部線状電極と前記下部線状電極とは、前記液晶層を間において互いに交差する方向に延長していることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記液晶層は、電界が印加されないときに水平配列するネガティブ液晶分子を含むことを特徴とする表示装置。
- 前記タッチバリアパネルはノーマリホワイトであり、
前記タッチ感知モードでは、前記下部線状電極、前記液晶層、および前記上部線状電極によって形成される液晶キャパシタの電圧変化に基づいてタッチを感知することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記下部線状電極に印加される電圧によって前記上部線状電極に形成される電圧の変化を感知してタッチを感知することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記タッチバリアパネルはノーマリホワイトであり、
前記立体映像表示モードでは、前記上部線状電極を2つに区分し、1つの電極には相対的に高い電圧を印加し、他の1つには相対的に低い電圧を印加することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 隣接する前記上部線状電極に同じ電圧が印加された部分では光を透過させ、前記隣接する上部線状電極に異なる電圧が印加された部分では光が遮断されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記タッチバリアパネルはノーマリホワイトであり、
前記タッチ感知モードと前記立体映像表示モードとは時間的に分離していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 表示パネルおよびタッチ感知モードまたは立体映像表示モードで動作するタッチバリアパネルを含み、前記タッチバリアパネルは、上部線状電極、下部線状電極、および液晶層を含む表示装置において、
前記タッチ感知モードがオンであるかを判断すること、
前記立体映像表示モードがオンであるかを判断することを含み、
前記タッチ感知モードおよび前記立体映像表示モードがすべてオンである場合には、時間的に分離して2つのモードをすべて動作させることを特徴とする表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記タッチ感知モードがオンである場合、前記下部線状電極、前記液晶層、および前記上部線状電極によって形成される液晶キャパシタの電圧変化に基づいてタッチを感知することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記立体映像モードがオンである場合、前記上部線状電極を2つに区分し、1つの電極には相対的に高い電圧を印加し、他の1つには相対的に低い電圧を印加し、前記下部線状電極はフローティングさせることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
