Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る半透膜支持体用不織布は、有機合成繊維を主体とする不織布であり、該不織布の一方の面に半透膜を支持することとなる半透膜支持体用不織布において、 前記半透膜を塗工することとなる不織布の半透膜塗工側面及び該半透膜塗工側面とは反対面となる非塗工面のいずれもが、ベック平滑度が5秒以上であり、かつ、不織布のシート横方向の内部結合強さが0.4〜0.8N・mの範囲内である。

Description
<繊維原料スラリーの調製>
太さ1.45デシテックス、カット長さ5mmの市販のポリエステル主体繊維(商品名:EP133、クラレ社製)22kgと、太さ1.2デシテックス、カット長さ5mmの市販のポリエステルバインダー繊維(商品名:TR07N、帝人ファイバー社製)8kgを、水に投入し、分散機で5分間分散し、繊維分濃度1質量%の繊維原料スラリーを得た。
<繊維スラリーの調製>
繊維原料スラリー1に、水を加えて全体を稀釈し、繊維分濃度0.03質量%の繊維スラリーを得た。
<シートの作製>
この繊維スラリーを、短網式抄紙機のヘッドボックスに投入し繊維スラリーを抄紙したのち、表面温度120℃のシリンダドライヤでシートが完全に乾くまで乾燥し、連続の巻取り原紙を得た。
<熱圧加工処理>
金属ロール/金属ロールのハードニップで金属ロールの面長1170mm、ロール径450mmの熱カレンダー装置を用い、前述の巻取り原紙をロール表面温度185℃、ロール間クリアランス70μm、線圧100kN/m、ライン速度20m/分の条件で熱圧加工処理して半透膜支持体用不織布を得た。
<繊維原料スラリーの調製>

実施例1のうち、ロール表面温度185℃、ライン速度を10m/分とした以外は実施例1と同様にして、半透膜支持体用不織布を得た。
<坪量の測定>
JIS P 8124:1998「紙及び板紙−坪量測定方法」に準じて行った。単位はg/m2とした。
JIS P 8118:1998「紙及び板紙−厚さ及び密度の試験方法」に準じて行った。単位はμmとした。
自製の装置を用いて、有効面積100cm2の濾材に面風速5.3cm/秒で通風したときの圧力損失を山本電機製作所社製マノスターゲージで測定した。単位はPaとした。
熊谷理機工業社製インターナルボンドテスターを用い、シート横方向について、JAPAN TAPPI紙パルプ試験方法No.18−2:2000「紙及び板紙−内部結合強さ試験方法−第2部:インターナルボンドテスタ法」に準じて内部結合強さの測定を行った。サンプルの大きさは25.4×25.4mmとし、5点の平均値を求めた。単位はN・mとした。
熊谷理機工業社製ベック平滑度試験機を用い、サンプルの半透膜塗工側面及び半透膜非塗工面について、JIS P 8119:1998「紙及び板紙−ベック平滑度試験機による平滑度試験方法」に準じてのベック平滑度を測定した。
実施例で得られた半透膜支持体用不織布からA4判サイズの試料を切り出し、ポリスルホン樹脂のDMF(ジメチルホルムアミド)20質量%溶液をメイヤーバー#12を用いて半透膜支持体上に塗工したのち、水に浸漬して塗工層を固化して半透膜を形成した。半半透膜の膜厚は、乾燥後で50μmとした。
前記の半透膜塗工層を形成した支持体用不織布試料について、手で揉むようにして10回しごいた後の塗工面の剥離状況を目視評価した。塗工面が完全に支持体から剥がれている場合を×(実用上問題あり)、一部剥がれそうな兆候が見えるものを△(実用下限レベル)、剥がれていないものを○(実用上問題なし)とし、○、△を合格、×を不合格とした。
前記の半透膜塗工層を形成した支持体用不織布試料について、塗工面の表面状態を目視評価した。塗工面に凹凸が見られるものを×(実用上問題あり)、やや凹凸が見られるものを△(実用下限レベル)、凹凸がないものを○(実用上問題なし)とし、○、△を合格、×を不合格とした。
前記の半透膜塗工層を形成した支持体用不織布試料について、非塗工面の半透膜塗工液の裏抜け状態を目視評価した。非塗工面に裏抜けが見られるものを×(実用上問題あり)、裏抜けの兆候が見られるものを△(実用下限レベル)、裏抜けがないもの(実用上問題なし)を○とし、○、△を合格、×を不合格とした。
Claims (4)
- 有機合成繊維を主体とする不織布であり、該不織布の一方の面に半透膜を支持することとなる半透膜支持体用不織布において、
前記半透膜を塗工することとなる不織布の半透膜塗工側面及び該半透膜塗工側面とは反対面となる非塗工面のいずれもが、ベック平滑度が5秒以上であり、かつ、不織布のシート横方向の内部結合強さが0.4〜0.8N・mの範囲内であることを特徴とする半透膜支持体用不織布。 - 前記不織布が湿式不織布であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の半透膜支持体用不織布。
- 前記不織布が1層構造であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の半透膜支持体用不織布。
- 前記有機合成繊維として、主体繊維とバインダー繊維とを含み、主体繊維とバインダー繊維の合計に対する主体繊維の配合率{主体繊維/(主体繊維+バインダー繊維)}が50質量%以上100質量%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の半透膜支持体用不織布。
