Abstract
【解決手段】基板と、前記基板上に配置され、前記基板と並行で互いに対向する第1電極層及び第2電極層と、前記第1電極層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、第1発光領域、第2発光領域及び第3発光領域を含む発光層と、を含む有機発光素子であって、前記発光層は、前記第1発光領域、第2発光領域及び第3発光領域内に共通して位置する第1共通発光層と、前記第1共通発光層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、前記第2発光領域内に位置する第2発光層と、前記第1共通発光層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、前記第3発光領域内に位置する第3発光層と、を含み、前記第1共通発光層は、第1ホスト、第1ドーパント及びp型ドーパントを含む、有機発光素子。

Description
アノードでは、コーニング社の15Ω/cm2(500Å)ITOガラス基板を50mm×50mm×0.7mmサイズに切り取って、イソプロピルアルコール及び純水を用いてそれぞれ5分間超音波洗浄した後、30分間紫外線オゾン洗浄した物を用いた。前記ITOガラス基板の上部に、MTDATAを真空蒸着して100Å厚さの正孔注入層を形成した後、前記正孔注入層の上部に青色ホストとしてTBADN94重量%、青色ドーパントとしてDPAVBI5重量%、及びp型ドーパントとしてF4TCNQ1重量%を用いて400Å厚さの発光層を形成した。前記発光層の上部にAlを真空蒸着して1,200Å厚さのカソードを形成することで有機発光素子を完成した。
発光層内のTBADN:DPAVBI:F4TCNQの重量比を、94:5:1に代えて93:5:2とした点を除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で有機発光素子を完成した。
発光層内のTBADN:DPAVBI:F4TCNQの重量比を、94:5:1に代えて95:5:0とした点を除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で有機発光素子を完成した。
発光層内のTBADN:DPAVBI:F4TCNQの重量比を、94:5:1に代えて92:5:3とした点を除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で有機発光素子を完成した。
発光層内のTBADN:DPAVBI:F4TCNQの重量比を、94:5:1に代えて90:5:5とした点を除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で有機発光素子を完成した。

Claims (20)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に配置され、前記基板と並行で互いに対向する第1電極層及び第2電極層と、
前記第1電極層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、第1発光領域、第2発光領域及び第3発光領域とを含む発光層と、
を含む有機発光素子であって、
前記発光層は、前記第1発光領域、第2発光領域及び第3発光領域内に共通して配置する第1共通発光層と、
前記第1共通発光層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、前記第2発光領域内に位置する第2発光層と、
前記第1共通発光層と前記第2電極層との間に配置され、前記第3発光領域内に位置する第3発光層と、を含み、
前記第1共通発光層は、第1ホスト、第1ドーパント及びp型ドーパントを含む、有機発光素子。 - 前記p型ドーパントは、LUMO(Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital)エネルギーレベルが、第1ホストのHOMO(Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital)エネルギーレベルと0.2−1.0eVの範囲の差を有するものである、請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記p型ドーパントのLUMOエネルギーレベルが5.5eV以下である請求項1または2に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記p型ドーパントは、F4TCNQ(2,3,5,6−テトラフルオロ−7,7’,8,8’−テトラシアノキノジメタン)、TCNQ(7,7’,8,8’−テトラシアノキノジメタン)、PTCDA(ペリレン−3,4,9,10−テトラカルボン酸−3,4,9,10−ジアンヒドリド)、1,3,2−ジオキサボリン誘導体、FeCl3、FeF3またはSbCl5を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記p型ドーパントの含量は、前記第1共通発光層の重量に対して0.5〜3重量%である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1発光領域は青色発光領域であり、前記第2発光領域は赤色発光領域であり、前記第3発光領域は緑色発光領域である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1共通発光層は青色共通発光層である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1ホストは、Alq3、CBP(4,4’−N,N’−ジカルバゾール−ビフェニル)、PVK(ポリ(n−ビニルカルバゾール))、ADN(9,10−ジ(ナフタレン−2−イル)アントラセン)、TCTA、TPBI(1,3,5−トリス(N−フェニルベンズイミダゾール−2−イル)ベンゼン)、TBADN(3−tert−ブチル−9,10−ジ(ナフト−2−イル)アントラセン)、E3またはDSA(ジスチリルアリーレン)を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1ドーパントは、青色燐光ドーパントまたは青色蛍光ドーパントを含む請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1ドーパントは、F2Irpic、(F2ppy)2Ir(tmd)、Ir(dfppz)3、テル−フルオレン、DPAVBi(4,4’−ビス(4−ジフェニルアミノスチリル)ビフェニル)またはTBPe(2,5,8,11−テトラ−t−ブチルペリレン)を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1共通発光層は、赤色共通発光層または緑色共通発光層である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極層と前記発光層との間に配置された正孔注入層または正孔輸送層をさらに含む請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記正孔注入層または正孔輸送層と前記発光層との間に配置された電子阻止層をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第2電極層と前記発光層との間に配置された電子注入層または電子輸送層をさらに含む請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記発光層と前記電子輸送層または電子注入層との間に配置された正孔阻止層をさらに含む請求項14に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記発光層と前記第2電極層との間に配置された共振層をさらに含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記共振層は、電子輸送層である、請求項16に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記共振層は、前記第1発光領域、前記第2発光領域及び前記第3発光領域の共振距離によって、前記第1発光領域、前記第2発光領域及び前記第3発光領域で異なる厚さを有する、請求項16または17に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極層はアノードであり、前記第2電極層はカソードである、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電極層はカソードであり、前記第2電極層はアノードである、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。
