Abstract
【解決手段】第1ガス拡散層20bの外周部に樹脂含浸部32aを介して第1樹脂製枠部材24aが溶着されて第1枠付き拡散層70aが得られる一方、第2ガス拡散層22bの外周部に樹脂含浸部32bを介して第2樹脂製枠部材24bが溶着されて第2枠付き拡散層70bが得られる。次いで、第1枠付き拡散層70aと第2枠付き拡散層70bとの間に、MEA構造体28が配置された状態で、前記第1枠付き拡散層70aと前記第2枠付き拡散層70bとが一体化され、樹脂枠体24が形成される。

Claims (2)
- 固体高分子電解質膜の一方の面に、第1触媒層及び第1ガス拡散層を有する第1電極が配設され、且つ前記固体高分子電解質膜の他方の面に、第2触媒層及び第2ガス拡散層を有する第2電極が配設されるとともに、前記第1ガス拡散層の平面寸法は、前記第2ガス拡散層の平面寸法よりも大きな寸法に設定される燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体の製造方法であって、
前記第1ガス拡散層の外周部に第1樹脂製枠部材を形成して第1枠付き拡散層を得る一方、前記第2ガス拡散層の外周部に第2樹脂製枠部材を形成して第2枠付き拡散層を得る工程と、
前記第1樹脂製枠部材又は前記第2樹脂製枠部材に設けられる凹部に、前記固体高分子電解質膜を収容した状態で、前記第1枠付き拡散層と前記第2枠付き拡散層とで前記固体高分子電解質膜を挟持する工程と、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の外周外方に位置して前記第1樹脂製枠部材と前記第2樹脂製枠部材とを接合することにより、前記第1枠付き拡散層と前記第2枠付き拡散層とを一体化させる工程と、
を有することを特徴とする燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法において、前記固体高分子電解質膜の外周縁部と前記前記第2枠付き拡散層とは、接着剤により固着されることを特徴とする燃料電池用樹脂枠付き電解質膜・電極構造体の製造方法。
