Claims (4)
- 固体高分子電解質膜の一方の面には、第1電極が設けられ、前記固体高分子電解質膜の他方の面には、第2電極が設けられるとともに、前記第1電極の平面寸法は、前記第2電極の平面寸法よりも大きな寸法に設定される段差MEAと、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の、前記第2電極の外方に露呈する外周面に接合される樹脂枠部材と、
を有する燃料電池用の樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造方法であって、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の前記外周面と前記樹脂枠部材とを、接着剤を介装して重ね合わせる工程と、
前記樹脂枠部材に当接する押圧面を有し、前記押圧面から少なくとも前記樹脂枠部材の内周と前記第2電極の外周端面との間に突出し、且つ前記第2電極の外周端面に接触する突出部が設けられたプレスプレートにより、該樹脂枠部材を押圧する工程と、
を有することを特徴とする樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法であって、前記プレスプレートは、前記押圧面とは反対の面に配置される弾性部材を介して押圧されることを特徴とする樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造方法。
- 固体高分子電解質膜の一方の面には、第1電極が設けられ、前記固体高分子電解質膜の他方の面には、第2電極が設けられるとともに、前記第1電極の平面寸法は、前記第2電極の平面寸法よりも大きな寸法に設定される段差MEAと、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の、前記第2電極の外方に露呈する外周面に接合される樹脂枠部材と、
を有する燃料電池用の樹脂枠付き段差MEAを製造する樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造装置であって、
前記固体高分子電解質膜の前記外周面と前記樹脂枠部材とを、接着剤を介装して重ね合わせた状態で、前記樹脂枠部材を前記段差MEAに向かって押圧させるプレスプレートを備え、
前記プレスプレートは、前記樹脂枠部材に当接する押圧面と、
前記押圧面から少なくとも前記樹脂枠部材の内周と前記第2電極の外周端面との間に突出し、且つ前記第2電極の外周端面に接触する突出部と、
を設けることを特徴とする樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造装置。 - 請求項3記載の製造装置であって、前記プレスプレートの前記押圧面とは反対の面に配置される弾性部材を備えることを特徴とする樹脂枠付き段差MEAの製造装置。
