Abstract
【解決手段】発明は、パウチ電池シーリング部の一部又は全体にシーリング部をさらに含むことにより、外部からの水分浸透と内部からの電解液の漏れを効果的に防ぐことができ、長期保存性能が改善されて電池の性能を向上させることができる。

Description
上部シートと下部シートとから構成されたパウチ外装材に、正極と負極とが分離膜により絶縁されて構成された電極組立体を収納した後、上記パウチ外装材の上/下部シートを熱融着させ、上記上/下部シートの第1シーリング部に厚さ40μmのアルミニウム金属箔テープを接着させた第2シーリング部を形成した。
パウチ外装材の上/下部パウチの第1シーリング部にアルミニウム金属箔テープを接着させないことを除いては、上記実施例と同一の方法で電池を製造した。
長期保存特性の向上を確認するために60℃に維持しながら、保存期間に応じた容量変化および放電抵抗を確認した。保存期間が3週、6週、10週となるごとに測定し、容量変化の確認は0.5 C-rateで4.15V、750mAに到達するように定電流/定電圧方式で充電をした後0.5 C-rateで3.0Vの定電流放電で5回繰り返し、5回目の容量で確認した。放電抵抗の増加は電池のSOC50状態で5C-rateで10secに急速に放電し、変化した電位の変化を電流で分けて確認した。
Claims (11)
- 上部シートと下部シートとがシールされる第1シーリング部、及び
上記第1シーリング部の一部又は全部に配置される第2シーリング部を有することを特徴とするパウチ。 - 上記第2シーリング部は、少なくとも一面が電気絶縁性を有する物質で塗布されるアルミニウム金属箔テープ、又は、アルミニウム金属箔テープで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ。
- 上記電気絶縁性を有する物質は、ポリオレフィン系高分子、ポリエステル系高分子、およびナイロンの中から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ。
- 上記第2シーリング部の厚さは0.1〜400μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ。
- 上記第2シーリング部は、電極タブが配置される領域を除いた部位に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ。
- 上記電極タブは同じ方向に形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のパウチ。
- 上記電極タブは互いに異なる方向に形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のパウチ。
- 上記第2シーリング部が上記第1シーリング部の一部に形成される場合、上記第2シーリング部は、上記第1シーリング部の端部面から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ。
- 上記上部シートおよび上記下部シートは、それぞれ内部層、金属層および外部層が順次積層されて構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ。
- 請求項1に記載のパウチを用いた二次電池。
- 上記二次電池はリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の二次電池。
