Description
カソード活性材料として、LiCoO295重量%、Super-P(導電性材料)2.5重量%、及びPVdF(結合剤)2.5重量%を包含する混合物を、溶剤としてのNMP(N-メチル-2-ピロリドン)に加え、カソード混合物スラリーを製造した。アノード活性材料として、人造グラファイト95重量%、Super-P(導電性材料)1重量%、及びPVdF(結合剤)4重量%を包含する混合物を、溶剤としてのNMPに加え、アノード混合物スラリーを製造した。カソード混合物スラリー及びアノード混合物スラリーを、アルミニウムホイル及び銅ホイルにそれぞれ塗布し、次いで、アルミニウムホイル及び銅ホイルを切断し、カソード板及びアノード板をそれぞれ製造した。続いて、カソード板及びアノード板を、セパレータとしてCellGuard(商品名)(TONEN)をカソード板とアノード板の間にそれぞれ配置して積み重ね、電極アセンブリーを製造した。
バッテリーケースのアノードリード線に対応する密封区域にスリットを形成しなかった以外は、例1と同様にしてバッテリーを製造した。
韓国特許出願公開第2006-112035号明細書に開示されているように、カソードリード線及びアノードリード線に取り付けた絶縁性フィルムの中央区域に切欠き部を形成し、バッテリーケースのアノードリード線に対応する密封区域にスリットを形成しなかった以外は、例1と同様にしてバッテリーを製造した。
例1及び比較例1及び2により製造した30個のバッテリーに対して、内部圧力増加実験を行った。結果を下記の表1に示す。内部圧力増加実験では、それぞれ30個のバッテリーの内部圧力を、空気を使用し、バッテリーの巻き付け材料が通気するまで、0.1 kgf/mm2で30秒間間隔で増加させ、通気部分が形成された区域間で比較した。
Claims (12)
- 電極アセンブリーがバッテリーケース中に取り付けられてなる構造で構築されてなるバッテリーセルであって、
前記バッテリーケースが、金属層及び樹脂層を包含するラミネートシートから製造されてなり、及び
前記バッテリーケースが、前記バッテリーケースの受入部分の縁部に沿って熱的に溶接され、密封部分を形成してなり、
異なったたわみ性を有する電極リード線(a,b)のうち、たわみ性が比較的低い電極リード線(a)に対応する密封部分の一部分に、応力に対する脆弱部分を形成してなり、
前記脆弱部分が物理的に変形し、予め決められた圧力が前記脆弱部分に作用した時に、内部のガスが前記脆弱部分を通って外側に排出されるように、
前記脆弱部分が、他方の電極リード線(b)の電極リード線対応部分には形成されていない、バッテリーセル。 - 前記バッテリーケースが小袋形ケースであり、及び
絶縁性フィルムが、前記バッテリーケースと接触する前記電極リード線の上部及び底部に取り付けられてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。 - 前記バッテリーケースが、
高い耐久性を示す外側樹脂層が、金属バリヤー層の一方の主要表面に取り付けられてなり、及び
熱溶接可能な内側樹脂層が、前記金属バリヤー層の他方の主要表面に取り付けられてなる構造で構築されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。 - 前記電極アセンブリーが、カソードリード線及びアノードリード線がバッテリーケースの両側からそれぞれ突き出る構造で構築されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 前記電極リード線(b)がアルミニウムから製造され、及び
前記電極リード線(a)がニッケル・銅合金から製造されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。 - 前記電極リード線(b)がカソードリード線であり、
前記電極リード線(a)がアノードリード線である、請求項5に記載のバッテリーセル。 - 前記電極アセンブリーが、折り曲げ構造、積重構造、または積重/折り曲げ型構造に構築されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 前記脆弱部分が、スリット構造に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 前記脆弱部分が、前記密閉部分における電極リード線が位置する区域に対応する部分に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 前記スリットが、前記電極アセンブリーの短手方向に配置されてなる、請求項8に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 前記スリットが、前記電極リード線の幅の50〜90%に等しい長さで配置されてなる、請求項10に記載のバッテリーセル。
- 単位電池として、請求項1に記載のバッテリーセルを包含してなる、バッテリーモジュール。
