Description
(1)ポリウレタンフィルム基材と、基材の少なくとも片面に形成された粘着層とを有し、引張強度が7500psi以上、破断伸度が550%以上であることを特徴とする、防湿材。
(2)ポリウレタンフィルム基材が、ポリエステル系ポリウレタンフィルム基材である、上記(1)記載の防湿材。
(3)粘着層が、ポリウレタン粘着剤を含む、上記(1)または(2)記載の防湿材。
(4)ポリウレタン粘着剤が、ポリエーテル系ポリウレタン粘着剤である、上記(3)記載の防湿材。
(5)ポリウレタン粘着剤が、硬化剤を含有する、上記(3)または(4)記載の防湿材。
(6)粘着層が難燃剤を含有し、該難燃剤の含有量が5重量%未満である、上記(1)〜(5)のいずれか一つに記載の防湿材。

図1に示されるように、本発明の防湿材1は、ポリウレタンフィルム基材2と、該基材2の少なくとも片面に形成された粘着層3とを備える。そして、本発明の防湿材1は引張強度が7500psi以上、破断伸度が550%以上の物性を有する。なお、1psiは約6.89kPaである。
ポリウレタンフィルム基材2を構成するポリウレタンとしては、特に限定はされないが、ポリオール成分がポリエーテルポリオールからなるポリエーテル系ポリウレタン、ポリオール成分がポリエステルポリオールからなるポリエステル系ポリウレタン、ポリオール成分がポリカーボネートポリオールからなるポリカーボネート系ポリウレタンなどが挙げられる。なかでも、強度、耐熱性、粘着剤との投錨性の観点からポリエステル系ポリウレタンが好ましい。
ポリウレタンフィルム基材2の少なくとも片面に形成される粘着層3には、例えば、ポリウレタン粘着剤、アクリル系粘着剤、ゴム系粘着剤等を用いることができる。航空機、船舶等の輸送機や建造物等の室内用材料には、難燃性、再剥離性、長期耐久性などが要求されるため、これらの観点から、ポリウレタン粘着剤が好ましい。
本発明の防湿材において、粘着層3には難燃剤を含有してもよいが、実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。
難燃剤としては、特に限定されないが、環境面から、ノンハロゲン系難燃剤が好ましく、ノンハロゲン系難燃剤としては、例えば、公知の水和金属化合物系難燃剤、無機化合物系難燃剤、リン系難燃剤、シリコーン系難燃剤、窒素化合物系難燃剤、有機金属化合物系難燃剤が挙げられる。なかでも、難燃性の付与効果、燃焼時のドリップ抑制、環境規制への適合性などに優れる点でリン系難燃剤が好ましい。
本発明の防湿材には、使用時まで粘着層3の表面保護、粘着層の粘着力の低下抑制などの観点から、粘着層3に剥離ライナーを積層してもよい。かかる剥離ライナーは防湿材をフロアーパネルなどの被貼付面に貼付する際に剥離される。
図4に示すように、幅1インチ、長さ40cmのテープTを準備し、テープTの一方の端部(長さ1インチ部分)を被着体50に貼り合わせ、他方の端部をテープの軸線方向に2kgの力で引っ張りながら、テープTの長さ30cm分を被着体50に貼り合わせ、被着体50に貼付されたテープTの最小幅部の幅(W)を測定する。最小幅部の幅(W)の試験前のテープの幅(1インチ)に対する減少の程度が小さい程、貼付時直線性が優れている。なお、1インチは約2.54cmである。
実施例および比較例の防湿材の評価試験は次の方法で行った。
重量:24±2時間、75±5°F[即ち、70°F(21.1℃)〜80°F(26.7℃)]で放置後、平面形状が2×3インチのサイズの矩形からなるサンプルの重量を最小目盛り0.001gの量りで測定し、5つのサンプルの平均値を採用した。
厚さ:最小目盛りが0.0005インチで7.0〜9.0psiの圧力が測定物にかかるダイヤルシックネスゲージで測定した。
ASTM D1000に準拠して、(i)室温×湿度50%RH、(ii)160°F×湿度50%RH、および(iii)120°F×湿度95%RHの条件下で、180°ピール強度を測定し、該180°ピール強度を接着力とした。被着体にはハニカム被着体(BMS4−17)を使用した。投錨性については、180°ピール強度を測定した後の被着体を目視で観察し、糊残りの有無をみた。
ASTM D3759に準拠。
詳細には、12.5mmのサンプル幅で、チャック間距離50mm、引張速度50mm/minの条件にて、引張強度、破断伸度を測定した。
BSS7230に準拠。
詳細には、長さ12インチ×幅3インチのテープ状にカットした試料の長さ方向の一方の端部を固定して鉛直方向に吊るし、長さ方向の他方の端部に12秒間接炎し、(1)燃焼時間、(2)燃焼長さ、(3)焼落物の燃焼時間を測定した。
ASTM D3833に準拠。
詳細には、ASTM指定の容器(フランジの外側寸法が50.8mm×152.4mm、内側寸法が25.4mm×101.6mm、容器本体の寸法が25.4mm×101.6mm×38.1mm(深さ))にCaCl2を一杯になる3mm手前くらいの深さまで入れる。フランジの外側寸法と同じサイズにカットしたサンプルをシワや泡が入らないようにフランジに貼り合わせる。38℃×湿度95%RHのオーブンに24時間放置して、取り出し、室温で15分間放置後、重さを測定する(W1)。再び72時間、38℃×湿度95%RHのオーブンに放置して、取り出し、15分室温で放置後、再度重さを測定する(W2)。そして、以下の式[I]により、WVTR(水蒸気透過率)を算出する。
式中、Tは暴露時間(72時間)、Aは容器の開口面積(4inch2)である。
1.5×4インチの2024のアルミニウムパネルに1×4インチのサンプルを貼り付けて、24時間、75°F(23.9℃)×湿度50%RHで保管し、初期の重さを測定する。その後、120°F(48.9℃)×湿度95%RHで7日間保管して、取り出し、ガーゼで余分な水分などをふき取ったあと、取り出してから30分以内に重さを測定し、初期と比較して、水分吸収率を測定した。
前述の方法(図4)にて試験・評価を行った。
被着体50にガラスプレートを使用し、テープの端部(長さ1インチ部分)の中心部分にばね秤51を係着してテープを2kgの力で引っ張った。試験は室温下で実施した。最小幅部の幅(W)が23mmより大きい場合は良好(○)、23mm以下の場合は不良(×)とした。
・ポリエーテル系ポリウレタン粘着剤
ポリエーテル系ポリウレタン(東洋インキ製SP−210)を100重量部、これにイソシアネート系硬化剤(東洋インキ製T−510B)を1.5重量部、2重量部、3重量部と分けて配合し、3種の粘着剤を作製した。粘着剤の硬化条件は120℃×2分に設定した。
ポリエステル系ポリウレタン(東洋インキ製のSH101)100重量部に、イソシアネート系硬化剤(東洋インキ製T−501B)を2重量部配合し、粘着剤を作製した。粘着剤の硬化条件は120℃×2分に設定した。
実施例の基材にはアメリカンポリフィルム製のポリエステル系ポリウレタンフィルム基材である、厚さが4milのVLM−4001、厚さが7milのVLM3301、厚さが10milのVLM3301の3種を用意した。
比較例1の基材にはアメリカンポリフィルム製のポリエーテル系ポリウレタンフィルム基材(厚さ:7mil、商品名:MT2001)を用意した。

Claims (11)
- ポリウレタンフィルム基材と、基材の少なくとも片面に形成された粘着層とを有し、引張強度が7500psi以上、破断伸度が550%以上であることを特徴とする、防湿材。
- ポリウレタンフィルム基材が、ポリエステル系ポリウレタンフィルム基材である、請求項1に記載の防湿材。
- 粘着層が、ポリウレタン粘着剤を含む、請求項1または2に記載の防湿材。
- ポリウレタン粘着剤が、ポリエーテル系ポリウレタン粘着剤である、請求項3に記載の防湿材。
- ポリウレタン粘着剤が、硬化剤を含有する、請求項3または4に記載の防湿材。
- 粘着層が難燃剤を含有し、該難燃剤の含有量が5重量%未満である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
- 水蒸気透過率が9.0%以下である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
- 水分吸収率が1.0%以下である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
- 引張強度が15000psi以下である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
- 破断伸度が1500%以下である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
- 燃焼性試験において燃焼時間15秒以下、燃焼長さが8インチ以下、焼落物の燃焼時間が5秒以下である請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の防湿材。
