Abstract

Claims (14)
- ガイド管を通して導管及びテンプレートを移送することであって、該テンプレートが該導管と該ガイド管との間の該導管の外表面上に配置される、導管及びテンプレートを移送することと、
前記ガイド管を通して前記導管及び前記テンプレートが移送される際に前記テンプレートから前記導管へとテクスチャを転写することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記導管、前記テンプレート、又は前記ガイド管を加圧することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記導管又は前記テンプレートを加圧することが、前記導管又は前記テンプレート内の流体圧力を増大させることによって達成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記テンプレートによって前記導管の周囲を包むことを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記テクスチャを転写することが完了した後に前記テンプレートを取り外すことを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記導管上で前記テクスチャを硬化させることを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化させることが熱及び/又は放射線によって達成される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記テクスチャが複数のパターンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- テンプレートから導管へのパターンの転写を促進するように機能するガイド管と、
前記ガイド管を通して前記導管を供給する第1の供給スプール、及び前記導管が前記ガイド管を通って移動した後に該導管を巻き取る第1の巻取スプールと、
前記ガイド管を通して前記テンプレートを供給する第2の供給スプール、及び前記テンプレートが前記ガイド管を通って移動した後に該テンプレートを巻き取る第2の巻取スプールと
を含む、装置。 - 前記導管を硬化させるように機能する硬化チャンバーを更に含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記ガイド管において前記導管をセンタリングするセンタリング機構を更に含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記テンプレートが複数のテンプレートを含み、該複数のテンプレートの各々が前記導管へとテクスチャを転写するように機能する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 導管の湾曲した表面上にテクスチャを配置することであって、該テクスチャが複数のパターンを含み、各パターンが該湾曲した表面に付着する又は該湾曲した表面へと突出する複数の離間した特徴部によって規定され、該複数の特徴部の各々が実質的に異なる構造を有する近接する特徴部を少なくとも1つ有し、隣接する離間した特徴部の間の平均間隔が該湾曲した表面の少なくとも一部において約1ナノメートル〜約1ミリメートルであり、該複数の離間した特徴部が周期関数によって表される、テクスチャを配置することと、
生物体の身体内に前記導管を配置することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記導管がカテーテルである、請求項13に記載の方法。
