Abstract
Description
a)特にプールが屋外にある場合の、UV光に対する曝露;
b)消費者によるプールの放置および化学物質の不適当な適用を含めた管理不全;
c)水及び化学物質による劣化の過程を悪化させる、スパプールの加熱及び利用に起因する水温の上昇;および
d)製品の有効運転パラメータを逸脱したプールへの酸、アルカリおよび酸化剤の過剰投入を導く可能性のある、自動消毒装置、塩水塩素処理装置およびpH制御装置の使用。
e)水の加水分解効果に対する連続的曝露。
塩素変色試験
工業規格より充分に高いことが知られている公知の表面組成の有効性を本発明の実施形態に係る表面組成と比較する目的で、FRPプール製造に適用可能である公知の製造技術、手順および調合物を用いて製造されたガラス繊維強化プラスチック(FRP)のパネルに対し、一連の試験を実施した。
加速された高度な80°試験
実施例1で記述したパネルPACおよびPBCを、「AS/NZS1838−1994スイミングプール−予備成形繊維強化プラスチック−設計と製造」規格に準じて耐水性試験に付した。この規格は、パネルが、規定された劣化評定(規格の表E1)にしたがって80℃30日間試験に合格できることを要求している。両方のパネルは所要条件に付され、非常に優れた結果でこの試験に合格した。表面の劣化も浸透作用によるブリスターも全く存在しなかった。75日後でもなお浸透作用によるブリスターで目に見えるものは全くなく、内部表面劣化は無視できるものであった。
耐候性および耐紫外線性に関する製品試験
12の別々のパネルを製造し、ASTM G154−06「非金属材料の紫外線曝露用の蛍光灯装置の標準的操作実践方法」を用いて試験した。同じ試料の一部として製造した対照パネルも、比較目的で供給した。
a)樹脂マトリクス内部で使用され、スプレー性を有し、かつゲルコートのレオロジーに影響を及ぼさない能力。
b)硬化プロセスを阻害しないこと。
c)透明ゲルコートに対し特徴的な色相または変色を全く持ち込まないこと。
d)充分に拡散した微小なまたは微視的な気泡はゲルコート中に曇りまたは乳状性を引き起こすことから、ゲルコートの通気を増大させないこと。
e)ゲルコートのバーコル苛酷度を阻害して、製品の耐摩耗性および全体的耐久性を低減しないこと。
f)ASTM G154−06で2000時間後に最適な耐候性および耐UVA性を提供すること。
g)最適な添加剤濃度を確定すること。
h)ゲルコートについて安定剤に対する紫外光吸収剤の最も適切な比率を確定すること。

1.パネルMおよびRは、試験の全過程にわたり、表面の外観およびテクスチャーに対する有意な劣化を示した。
2.性能が最も良いパネルは、パネルG、H、JおよびKであった。全ては光沢のわずかな喪失とわずかな黄色味しか示さなかった。全てのパネルを通して、表面摩擦の初期変化は明白であったが、パネルG、H、JおよびKは全て、先の試験以降の変化を全く示さず、きわめてわずかな初期変化とそれに続くさらに長期間の安定性およびさらなる変化の無い状態を示していた。
3.比較的高い濃度のTINUVIN(商標)添加剤を伴うパネルは、より低い濃度の添加剤を伴うパネルに比べ性能が低かった。したがって、1.5%の添加剤を伴うパネルは、2.0%の添加剤を伴うパネルよりも性能が優れていた。
4.2%の添加剤率を有するパネルは、霧がかかった/曇った外観を示した。
5.2部分の吸収剤対1部分の安定剤という比率を有するパネルは、1部分の吸収剤対1部分の安定剤を伴うパネルよりも性能が優れていた。
6.パネルG、HおよびKの間の差異は無視できる程度のものであった。
7.パネルGはパネルJよりも性能が優れ、TINUVIN(商標)400がTINUVIN(商標)384−2よりも優れた性能を提供したことを表わしていた。
2.漂白跡、黄化または白亜化無し。
3.プールの色は、バリア層を塗布することにより、塩素、臭素またはその他の酸化剤の漂白効果から離隔されている。
4.光輝度と持続性のある光沢仕上げは藻類と汚れに耐え、清浄がより容易であり、結果としてプールのメンテナンスは軽減される。
5.美的および構造的積層品は、水の攻撃的性質から完全に保護されている。
6.本発明のコーティング組成の全ての具体的な塗布が優れた層間接着力により確保され、かつスイミングプール積層品は構造的、機械的かつ化学的に結合されて、スイミングプールに対しより高い強度、耐久性および耐ブリスター性を提供している。
7.改善された加水分解安定性。
8.「浸透作用によるブリスター」の確率が劇的に最少化される。
9.紫外光線による劣化に耐え、UV曝露に由来する亀裂の傾向を無くする。高い熱安定性を有し、極限環境条件に適している。
Claims (22)
- 水性液体中に長期間沈漬される表面の劣化及び退色を低減するための表面組成であって、前記表面組成は少なくとも1つの透明バリア層と少なくとも1つの下地層とを含み、前記透明バリア層が、使用中、前記下地層の上に配置され前記液体と接触し、それにより前記透明バリア層が前記下地層の構造及び外観を保護している、
表面組成。 - 前記下地層が1つ以上の装飾または観賞作用物質を含む装飾層である、請求項1に記載の表面組成。
- 1つ以上のUV阻害剤、吸収剤および/または安定剤を含む、請求項1または2に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明バリア層が1つ以上のUV阻害剤、吸収剤および/または安定剤を含む、請求項1または3のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明バリア層が透明ポリエステルゲルコートである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明ポリエステルゲルコートが1つ以上のフタレート含有ポリエステル類、ビニル含有ポリエステル類またはメタクリル酸メチル含有ポリエステル類を含む、請求項5に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明ポリエステルゲルコートがフタレート含有ポリエステルを含む、請求項6に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明ポリエステルゲルコートがイソフタル酸ネオペンチルグリコールから誘導される、請求項7に記載の表面組成。
- 前記透明ポリエステルゲルコートが、ポリエステル中のジヒドロキシ化合物の合計モル%に基づいて70モル%超のネオペンチルグリコールから誘導される、請求項8に記載の表面組成。
- 前記バリア層がトリアジン系のUV吸収剤を含む、請求項3〜9のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記バリア層がヒンダードアミン系光安定剤を含む、請求項3〜10のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記バリア層が1つ以上の金属促進剤を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記1つ以上の金属促進剤が、オクチル酸亜鉛、オクチル酸カリウムまたはオクチル酸コバルトからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記下地層が1つ以上のポリエステル類、ビニルエステル類またはテレフタレート系樹脂を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 前記下地層が1つ以上のエポキシビニルエステル類、臭素化エポキシビニルエステル類、ノボラックエポキシビニルエステル樹脂またはエラストマで修飾されたビニルエステル樹脂を含む、請求項14に記載の表面組成。
- 前記エポキシビニルエステル樹脂がビスフェノール−Aエポキシビニルエステル樹脂を含む、請求項15に記載の表面組成。
- 前記下地層が1つ以上の金属促進剤を含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成。
- 透明ゲルコート液体を金型に塗布するステップと、前記ゲルコートを硬化させるステップと、その後着色または装飾ビニルエステル層を前記硬化したゲルコートに塗布するステップとを含む、表面組成の製造方法。
- 前記透明ゲルコートがイソフタル酸ネオペンチルグリコールから誘導される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記ビニルエステル層がビスフェノールAエポキシビニルエステル樹脂を含む、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
- スイミングプールまたはプールスパの製造における、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の表面組成の使用。
- 少なくとも1つの透明バリア層と少なくとも1つの下地層で構成された表面組成を有するスイミングプールまたはプールスパであって、前記透明バリアが、使用中、前記下地層の上に配置され、プール内の液体と接触し、それにより前記透明バリア層が前記下地層を劣化から保護している、スイミングプールまたはプールスパ。
