Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、耐熱材及び耐熱セラミックスとの接着用の熱硬化性接着剤又はコーティングに関する。該接着剤又はコーティングは、25ないし50質量%のシリコン粉末、5ないし20質量%のSiC粉末、20ないし60質量%のホルムアルデヒド樹脂又はポリフルフリルアルコール及び10ないし30質量%の有機溶媒を含有する。

Description
本発明は、カーボン材料、窒化ケイ素、炭化ケイ素及び石英のような耐熱材及び耐熱セラミックス用の接着剤及びコーティングに関する。
高温で使用される、カーボン材料、窒化ケイ素、炭化ケイ素及び石英のような耐熱材及び耐熱セラミックスを接着させるための多数の接着剤が既知である。カーボン成分用の接着剤は、特許文献1より既知である。前記接着剤は、熱硬化性ポリシラゲンポリマー(polysilagen polymer)、前記ポリマーの質量に基づき20ないし50質量%のSiCであり得るセラミックス粉末、前記ポリマーの質量に基づき10ないし40質量%のSi粉末及び前記ポリマーの質量に基づき5ないし15質量%のカーボン粉末を含有している。
本発明により、扱い易く、高温にて良好な強度を有し、溶融シリコンによっても湿潤されず、且つ、長期間保存され得る接着剤並びにコーティングが提供される。本接着剤及びコーティングはさらに、高温からの冷却中、つまり1000℃未満への下降の間に、その強度が低下するという驚くべき効果を有している。かかる効果は特に、本接着剤が、溶融シリコンの方向性凝固に用いられる例えば窒化ケイ素、石英又はグラファイトのセパレートシートから作られた鋳型を一緒に接着するのに用いられる場合に、特に有益である。シリコンの冷却中に、固体相転移が生じ、このことが容量を増加させ、そして鋳型の失敗を引き起こす。本発明に従った接着剤を用いて接着されたセパレートシートから作られた鋳型の使用により、相転移が生じる温度にある本接着剤は低い強度を有し、そしてそれ故、鋳型が接着層中にひび割れを生じさせる一方で、それぞれのシートが損傷しない。該シートはそれ故、新たな鋳型を作成するのに再利用され得る。
実施例
図1は、本発明に従う接着剤を用いて接着されたグラファイト部品の強度試験のための機構を示す。本接着剤は、下記の組成を有している:38質量%のシリコン粉末、12質量%の炭化ケイ素粉末、28質量%のホルムアルデヒド樹脂、18質量%のモノエチレングリコール及び4質量%のヘキサミン。
以下のプログラムに従い坩堝を加熱した:
20ないし1000℃:20分
1000ないし1600℃:60分
1600℃での保持時間:60分
1600℃から1000℃への冷却:60分
その後、炉を止め、サンプルをゆっくりと室温まで冷却した。
サンプル2には、1600℃にて60分間保持しておいた後に20kgの質量で加重を与えたが、かかる温度にて良好な強度を有していた。また、1350℃への冷却後も、サンプル2は良好な強度を示した。
サンプル3には、1600℃にて60分間保持した後、1350℃への冷却中、及び1000℃へのさらなる冷却中に、20kgの質量で加重を与えた。結果は、接着剤の強度がこれら温度にてきわめて良好であったことを示した。室温へのさらなる冷却によって、サンプル3の部品3は、該サンプルの上部の部品2から離れて落下した。
高温で使用される、カーボン材料、窒化ケイ素、炭化ケイ素及び石英のような耐熱材及び耐熱セラミックスを接着させるための多数の接着剤が既知である。カーボン成分用の接着剤は、特許文献1より既知である。前記接着剤は、熱硬化性ポリシラザンポリマー(polysilazane polymer)、前記ポリマーの質量に基づき20ないし50質量%のSiCであり得るセラミックス粉末、前記ポリマーの質量に基づき10ないし40質量%のSi粉末及び前記ポリマーの質量に基づき5ないし15質量%のカーボン粉末を含有している。
Claims (6)
- 耐熱材又は耐熱セラミックスとの接着用の熱硬化性接着剤又はコーティングであって、前記接着剤又はコーティングは、25ないし50質量%のシリコン粉末、5ないし20質量%の炭化ケイ素粉末、20ないし60質量%のフェノール−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂又はポリフルフリルアルコール及び10ないし30質量%の有機溶媒を含有することを特徴とする、前記熱硬化性接着剤又はコーティング。
- 前記有機溶媒は、モノエチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール及びトリエチレングリコールの中より選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の接着剤又はコーティング。
- 前記接着剤又はコーティングは、35ないし45質量%のシリコン粉末、8ないし18質量%のシリコン粉末、25ないし35質量%のホルムアルデヒド樹脂又はポリフルフリルアルコール及び15ないし25質量%の有機溶媒を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の接着剤又はコーティング。
- 前記接着剤又はコーティングは、前記ホルムアルデヒド樹脂又はポリフルフリルアルコールの重合温度を低下させるための硬化剤を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のうちいずれか1項に記載の接着剤又はコーティング。
- 前記硬化剤は、ヘキサミン、リン酸アルミニウム又は酸より選択されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の接着剤又はコーティング。
- 前記酸は、硫酸、尿素により中和したp−トルエンスルホン酸及びp−トルエンスルホン酸エチルエステルの中より選択されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の接着剤又はコーティング。
