Abstract
【解決手段】ホットゾーンと前記ホットゾーンより拡散した拡散領域とを含む合成配光パターンを形成する車両用前照灯において、レーザー光源と、前記レーザー光源からの光を前方に照射して前記ホットゾーンを照射する第1配光パターンを形成する第1光学系と、を含む少なくとも一つの第1灯具ユニットと、LED光源と、前記LED光源からの光を前方に照射して前記拡散領域を照射する第2配光パターンを形成する第2光学系と、を含む少なくとも一つの第2灯具ユニットと、を備えることを特徴とする。

Description
以下、本発明の第1実施形態である車両用前照灯について図面を参照しながら説明する。
図2は、集光ユニット20をその光軸AX1を含む鉛直面で切断した縦断面図である。
図4は、拡散ユニット30をその光軸AX2を含む鉛直面で切断した縦断面図である。
図5は、車両用前照灯10を点灯するための回路例である。
次に、上記構成の車両用前照灯10により仮想鉛直スクリーン(例えば、車両前端部前方約25mに配置されている)上に形成される合成配光パターンであるすれ違いビーム用配光パターンP1について説明する。
次に、集光ユニット20の第2実施形態である集光ユニット40について説明する。
次に、集光ユニット20の第3実施形態である集光ユニット50について説明する。

Claims (4)
- ホットゾーンと前記ホットゾーンより拡散した拡散領域とを含む合成配光パターンを形成する車両用前照灯において、
レーザー光源と、前記レーザー光源からの光を前方に照射して前記ホットゾーンを照射する第1配光パターンを形成する第1光学系と、を含む少なくとも一つの第1灯具ユニットと、
LED光源と、前記LED光源からの光を前方に照射して前記拡散領域を照射する第2配光パターンを形成する第2光学系と、を含む少なくとも一つの第2灯具ユニットと、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記レーザー光源は、半導体レーザー光源と、前記半導体レーザー光源から離間して配置され、前記半導体レーザー光源からのレーザー光を受けて前記半導体レーザー光源より長波長の光を発生する波長変換部材と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記波長変換部材に照射される前記半導体レーザー光源の光源像の面積は1平方ミリメートル以下であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記レーザー光源と前記LED光源とは、点灯回路に対して電気的に直列に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の車両用前照灯。
