Abstract
【解決手段】有機溶媒、リチウム塩および添加剤を含有する電解質溶液を備えるリチウム電池であって、該添加剤は、マレイミド系化合物と、分子量が1000未満のヒドロキシル基を含む化学種を含有し、ここで、該電解質溶液中の該ヒドロキシル基を含む化学種の含有量が0.05重量%〜5重量%である。かかる混合添加剤は、電気化学的反応を起こして電極表面上に特別な物質を形成し、電極表面上の電解質溶液の分解を軽減する。また、−5℃〜15℃の露点で、アノードとカソードをセパレータで分離して電池のジェリーロールを作る工程とすることにより、電池内での多量の水分に関する従来の問題を解決することができる。

Description
1. 前記実施形態のリチウム電池において、電解質溶液の混合添加剤中にマレイミド系化合物とヒドロキシル基とを含む化学種を含み、これらが電池の容量および効率を効果的に改善する。
2. 前記実施形態のリチウム電池の製造方法において、特定の湿度条件下でリチウム電池を製造することができ、その結果、環境中および添加剤中の水分が電気化学的反応を起こすことがあり、これによりリチウム電池の容量を改善する効果をもたらす。

分子量が1000未満のヒドロキシル基を含む化学種を含有し、ここで、該電解質溶液中の該ヒドロキシル基を含む化学種の含有量が0.05重量%〜5重量%である、リチウム電池。 - 前記マレイミド系化合物が、マレイミド、ビスマレイミド、ポリマレイミド、ポリビスマレイミドおよびビスマレイミドとマレイミドとのコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記アノード、カソード、セパレータおよび電解質溶液に巻きつけられたパッケージ構造をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- リチウム電池の製造方法であって、
a)−5℃〜15℃の露点で、アノードとカソードをセパレータで分離して電池のジェリーロールを作る工程と、
b)電解質溶液を含有領域に充填する工程と
を含み、工程a)において、通常、該アノード、カソードおよびセパレータが含有領域を形成し、工程b)において、該電解質溶液が有機溶媒、リチウム塩および添加剤を含有し、該添加剤がマレイミド系化合物を含有する、
リチウム電池の製造方法。 - 電解質溶液を含有領域に充填する前記工程が、電池のジェリーロールを作った直後に実施される、請求項6に記載のリチウム電池の製造方法。
- 前記添加剤がヒドロキシル基を含む化学種をさらに含み、該ヒドロキシル基を含む化学種の分子量が1000未満である、請求項6に記載のリチウム電池の製造方法。
- 前記アノード、カソード、セパレータおよび電解質溶液にパッケージ構造を巻きつける工程をさらに含む、請求項6に記載のリチウム電池の製造方法。
- 前記電解質溶液中の最終的な水分の含有量が50ppm〜500ppmの範囲である、請求項6に記載のリチウム電池の製造方法。
